Hello everyone,

I wanted to share some thoughts on PVP right now and offer a friendly suggestion regarding lag.

To give a bit of background, I first found out about InfinityMU back in 2020. I know the server has been running for a long time, so I definitely don't call myself a veteran, but I loved how active the community was. I ended up stopping for a while because macros weren't allowed back then, and playing purely manual against top players was really tough. Fast forward to 2025, I saw a discount on Tier 3 items and noticed macros were finally allowed. I came back, but eventually had to step away again because the lag made it impossible to compete with players.

Then the SEA server opened recently, and I logged in immediately. It was a blast! I was finally experiencing how fun the PVP here can really be. But with the SEA server closing today, that feeling is gone. It's like waking up from a really good dream.

For those of us playing with lag, we can adjust our combo macros so our 1-2-3 hits still land. But we can't do anything to fix our potions. It doesn't matter how good your combo is, you just die instantly and can't even fight back.

My Suggestion:
Since using macros for potions is already allowed and everyone uses them anyway, would the admins consider adding a built-in Auto-Potion feature directly inside the game?

This wouldn't make the game "easier" or change how we play, since we're all using auto-pot macros already. What it would do is make things fair. An in-game auto-pot would heal everyone at the exact same speed, whether you live right next door to the server or on the other side of the world.

If keeping a SEA server open isn't possible right now, an in-game auto-pot system would at least give international players a fair chance to survive and win based on their gear and stats, instead of losing just because of a bad connection.

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate everything the staff does to keep the game running. I'd love to hear the community's thoughts on this.

AP already developed. There's a lot you can choose it. I think don't need to make build in AP since there's lot of AP available. All you need is to have a good VPN like NoPing or ExitLag. If you use PZ you small chance in pvp

Thanks for the input, but you are misunderstanding the actual issue. I already use an AP, and I have tried ExitLag. The problem isn't a lack of tools; the problem is the physical distance to the host.

A VPN optimizes your connection path, but it can't completely erase the distance between SEA and Canada. When the temporary SEA server was online, my potions registered flawlessly at the full 5 to 5.5 pots per second mentioned in the patch notes. Now that we are back on the CA server, the lag causes the server to drop or miss my potion clicks, capping my healing at around 3.8 pots per second no matter what settings I try on my auto-pot.

I am not asking for a built-in AP because I don't have one. I am asking for it because an in-game system handles the healing directly on the server side, meaning lag wouldn't cause your potion clicks to get lost in transit across the ocean.

Right now, if you live in SEA, you are fighting with a permanent 30% healing disadvantage compared to players who live near the server. A built-in AP just levels the playing field so that PvP is decided by our gear, stats, and combos—not where we live.

Hi,
Next patch will include built-in auto potion. In previous updates we implemented it and then disabled it because some players disagreed about it and no idea what was the reason behind it.
Built-in auto potion will not resolve your lag issue. It's same like any AutoPot app. It will just drink potions for you.
Thanks!

Thank you for listening and deciding to bring the built-in auto-potion feature back in the next patch! I really appreciate you taking the time to read the suggestion and responding to the thread.

I’ll definitely be logging back in to give the new feature a try once the update goes live. Thanks again for everything you do to keep the server running!
