This is absolutely normal situation, because the DL you are playing against have Mana Shield. Balance wasn't done considering buffs because usually players are solo Duel/ PVP vs other class. What's happens in arena is normal MASS PK zone and everyone use buffs and you should take advantage of DMG buffs by elf or dl in this case if your opponent is using Mana Shield. Also try to use +2sd set parts for your set. In your video report your potting rate is very low + You are not doing combos at all and obviously you are not playing SM properly. Using just Ice Storm is not going to work. I will record you videos as well and I will show you how I play SM vs DL, MG vs DL and SM vs MG. Also you are wearing Non working Set MIX ----> Do NOT use Apollo Helm+Apollo Ring+Apollo Pendant+Horus set because you will have less Double DMG Rate %. I will show you in the video, just watch the Advanced Stats and watch the video carefully, my potting speed , set parts and 123+e the usual spam for combo as you are playing MG, SM or DL /it doesn't matter. You should use full uber alviss+prometheus / full uber horus set + 2 parts SD and 3 parts DDR. Do not combine any set unless its the sister set. E.g. Apollo+banek / Alviss+prome etc.


Videos as I promised:
SM vs DL
SM vs DL
MG vs DL
DL vs SM

Tests are done using pingzapper on DL and SM & MG classes. (Tests were more than hour and a half, videos are just short with the best highlights). We both have 4-5 pots /sec. Check my gamestyle and equipment and take notes.
Sets used in the tests:
SM equipments: Uber Horus+3DDR+2SD+SD Dec for staff+pair kantata
DL equipments: Uber AmunFullDDR+Arthur+SDDec+pair kantata
MG equipment: Uber VirtusFullDDR+ArthurCrit+MolochSacrifice+SDDec+pair kantata
All classes had full achievements+infinity buff.
Yes, what I mean is that in big fights full buff vs full buff, is very hard to get a DL down alone, since there is many factors like Reflect, Running and so on..plus the damage of DL is pretty high, what we do is simply ignore DL because as clean players we don't know how to get him down even if we hit him with 2-3 players full buff

Btw, I'm watching the video and I see UltraWeak is saying that the apollo+horus is non-working mix, but this was prior to the update of the sets , also I've tested many combination, but 3 items apollo + horus was giving extra critical damage rate + power, around 2k extra.

Higher DD% & IgnoreDefRate is more important than 2k dmg extra. Trust me.

In my personal opinion the change has been quite good, making the game not so frustrating for the MG class.

TESTED WITH Virtus + shield + ibuff + arch
My experience is mostly based on war situations adding different buffs, where winning consists of adding attacks.
Now it seems that the support of MG does not go unnoticed. Also if you know handle the situation well you can stay long enough on the
board without dying.
For me 80% of the game takes place in a >2v2 war situation and maybe 20% 1v1 (Personally)

MG VS SM (war environment/buffs) there is still no victor, this is ideal since neither class prevails over the other without the support of peers.
MG VS SM 1v1, the speed of the SM using flame sets a constant state of reflect stuck to the MG preventing his powerslash attack, ok.
This is one of the positive characteristics that SM must maintain (at least vs mg) where the MG technique for getting out of reflect stuck
and re-establishing powerslash scoring is knowing how to fit a combo to interrupt the SM.

I propose to reward more the use of the combo in MG (formula?) in exchange for eliminating uniria. And maybe reward too
the use of status magic such as ice - poison. In order not to make MG a char that just uses powerslash without further ado. (maybe difficult proposals)


MG VS DL (war environment) DL is still a target to ignore, no matter how many attacks we add, it is impossible to throw it away.

After all this time, DL deserves to suffer somehow.

To qualify about DL, I gather some of the advantages that it benefits from:
It has its own buff
It has a very high DMG and has great success.

Virtus, should be 85% double damage (with kantata pair), 55% IgnoreDefense (Advance Stats Panel).
Giaon + Myuren, should be 80% double damage, 50% IgnoreDefense (Advance Stats Panel).

@RESiSTANT will fix the pink opt (+mixing on chaos cachine) on Server 3 for Arrow-Viper Bow, Celestial Bow and Great Reign Crossbow.

[SI] In addition of what Deluxo said, MG is now very playable Character among the races, we were 3 sm in PvP Event and he just give us our respective medicine jajaja. In the bad way i was all SD so i couldn´t give him a good and max PvP to try the best but i can tell the MG is now a good character to play on

I've already read all the comments of the other players, and well if you have to accept that the DL is a bit OP, due to several benefits that it has, such as its own buff (crit), it is not affected by the reflex when your run with your pet, you have a pet that absorbs his damage by 40%, which has made him a fairly strong and playable character since time immemorial, but now well. Apply a nerf to this character, I hope they can do it in the best way possible and it doesn't look like the MG before this update, turning the DL into the new MG :p. It's already clear that playing is a MASS PK with full buff, It is an extra help, considering that if you play a vs against another player, it is most likely that neither will die (Considering that both play full buff), Now if they are going to balance vs without buff, to play duels and that all the characters They are playable and there is no favoritism, I see it as correct.

I tried my MG char yesterday and I can say that he is better now
than before, he can keep up with pvp better, thanks for the new update..

I think we should consider and update mg vs elf.
I just had a test vs an elf tier 2 draco, and two full equipped mg tier 2 all achievements, buff, imp, arthur etc and we could not kill the elf.

Mg vs sm, I believe mg should have a bit of less ref on sm!

Sm vs sm when both playing full dri there is a lot of ref, can we try or test - ref a little?

If after all this, it requests to remove 80-100k health from the MG, we're back to square one leaving the class useless. Subtracting 30% of his hp is suicide.

About MG vs ELF I had no problems, obviously ELF is stronger, faster and will disable the MG in a constant reflect stuck. But with the HP increase now it allows her to survive and try to find the slop and land her powerslash attack and defeat her.

If elf accumulates MS and Swell, I understand that it takes more than 1 MG to defeat her, and if she has good pot / set / arch / ib even 3 MG. This also happens in reverse order, when an MG with MS and Swell is able to take 2-3 consecutive attacks if he knows how to handle the situation. @Alexz

Server-3 (Odin) have been updated with the following:
- Reduced dmg formula with -15% of Elf vs BK.


Only affected class is ELF's damage done against BK. No other class is affected by this update. Elfs still do the same dmg to the rest of the classes.
Based in our tests with Peaceful everything went fine. Elf is no longer overpowered against BK. Please make your tests again and let me know here.

Now this is a issue that concern my favorite char to use. Is not that i ever had a chance against pro BM's .
... this perhaps will make my elf vulnerable even vs semi BM's.
But ..my rankings are BM>DL>SM+MG>ELF ... All ok. Rip Viola :LOL:
I'l do my test and shout out later or tomorrow if everything it's alright. Thank you for updating the settings tho.

Hello! In my opinion i dont think that elfs are that overpowered against BKs. I always had a very nice PvPs against elfs withouy any trouble at both parts (Just struggling with combo because they move to much :ROFLMAO: ) but despite of that i wouldn't say that elfs were overpowered. But i will try to prove the following update :praying:Thanks for keeping us in touch sir @RESiSTANT

I noticed the reflect issue onn MG vs SM as well and there are circumtances that MG couldnt move on the middle of the fight because lots of reflects received from sm. We will investigate this reflect issue.

I dont know why anybody is talking about how mg is putting the sm in the floor in less than 3 seconds (i was using full sd) so right now a sm using a full sd set is useless in server 3 since at anytime a mg would come and make ur sm eat on the floor (this includes semi mg) i dont wanna see the pro Mg’s going vs a sm..

Of course SD works! 2 sd parts are enough to do good combos and eliminate your enemies. This keeps your defense higher because you will die from all the classes in 3s if they wear SDDec/SD Ignore weps... Why use full sd while you will die from every char especially from BK in a 3 sec? The use of Full SD is for only CS where you have full buffs. =)
