thats why so many people asking about this..coz its very hard for some filipino players for this they have a very very low potrate thats why their pots is just depending on WTFAST...this will be the reason for some players to quit for this game....

IMO this would be better than experiencing dc hacks. Lots of issues going on lately from the servers.
A wizard came & PMed me that he's gonna DC me in within 10 seconds yet he probably did it. I was surprised tho.
Maybe most of hacks were behind to WTFast.

for me?i dont think so?Y ive been playing here for almost a year now with WTFAST account?but it seems WTFAST and those freaking hacks are can be one or the hacks can be hide using the WTFAST....i know it needs to be a big problem with the server coz they are dealing with those CHEATERS..if the WTFAST will be gone permanent?they can lose 1 cheater coz of the hacks?but they can lose more coz of the wtfast is gone.....its gonna be a very hard decision for resi...but he makes his decision already...i think he just preferred to get lose the WTFAST for the sake of players...this is gonna be a big trouble for all filipino players and u know that also...
Ok Ok. Lemme have my opinion. I am also from Asia which you are living also, for me I was really shock when WTFast is disable by our Admin. Can you understand the feeling of being DC without doing anything? Of course it ****s, not only you are experiencing some lowing pot rate or some delays. This is our privilege. It's a good thing that Resi din't move the server back to EU again. Or will be doom again.. Just pray resi will catch that DC Hacker now to bring up WTFast. So we can have our potrate back again.. Or in other term try to help him to catch the DC hacker. If you really wanna to use WTFast again. Just remember EQUALITY is the best game in here..
It really depends on how fast is you're internet is.. I don't think all Pinoys will suffer this one. And not only you is suffering this one. About Cheaters.. Resi is making he's way to make this Server cheatless. But sad to say there's no Game w/o cheaters. Cheaters are always there. But this came to him far way too much. Try to think if you are resi would like to end your enjoyment because of that DC Hackers? I rather disable that WTFast than to loose the happiness of my players..

Just thinkthe wtfast is not disable only for you its disabled to everyone, so you'll die easy, yes but all will not only you, it will be fast pvp 
I dont think it will be lagged coz WTFast lag the server a lot now it will be less lag, lets see guys, lets test how it will work, stop flame before enjoy at least a bit.

Before, we play here. This server Rocks on that time even without WTFast we Filipino must be thankful coz RESI didn't let the server back to EU.
ok i will not argue with you guys..but let just see whats the result for this...thank you very much..
even if you have the WTFast, if your speed is slow then you will your still on trouble and now they disabled it, then you are now in deeply trouble AHAHA )

i will just support the action of RESi for blocking the Wtfast .. but still i will miss the good potting rate of what i have in that days,
but 1 negative comment so all who is only live in US gain the power to have the potting of US server now hahaha ....

For us Filipino, we have a low pot rate here in the Philippines. That's why we use WTFAST. Our ISP here in the Philippines is not good as compare to other country especially in Europe and U.S. Even we use Leatrix, it doesn't solve the issue in pot rate. I hope that there is some program that we can use to play MU fast and no dc.
We can't question Sir Venci's decision but for my opinion, server 3 is already USA and server 4 is already Europe. For the very first time in years, Filipinos in this server had the best PK time of their lives. Maybe it's unfair but that's how it goes. "Life is unfair. Get used to it".

Besides the Leatrix , you can also use razer game booster and close additional programs /browsers etc that you use
i support the WTFast block since many people use to hit our server through wtfast and it takes so long to catch them and ban them, in the meantime they ruin events and ddos the server - all of this now, if it ever happens, will be processed within minutes

Venci picked the better way. Good that he blocked WTFast. In old times everyone was playing without it. Now the new players also can enjoy that old feeling.

WTFast kind of "masks" your IP, your basically playing under the other servers IP so it makes things like hard bans and ip bans not possibly or the wtfast server will be blocked, to avoid these players abusing those kind of programs it's now blocked, and I support it because I prefer to play without cheaters, and as many people mentioned in the past Infinitians played without wtfast, so they should also be able to do the same now, there will if anything be more balance in terms of pot rates, for example before my pot rate was too insanely high (7-8) and not many people could kill me, now it will be more balanced and we'll be more on equal footing. I think this is the perfect decision to avoid those dc hackers and other abusers.
