We failed to reach last months vote goal
and we have some huge out votes.
may i suggest to re-think the way we vote
at the current system the process is like this:
Log-in > do your stuff (webshop, change info, or just check on your account)> its up to you if you vote or no
now what i want to suggest is the following
for us to have this huge votes we need to rethink the system
with the method above its obvious not everyone is voting
so i suggest this new system called as compulsory voting
1. log-in (username, password and captcha) why captcha? ofc to avoid flooding or brute attacks of knowing username and pass based on cookies)
2. before we can access the main account panel (webshop, rankings account info, char options, etc) a pop up will display that will disable access to the panel and contains all the voting options that can be found on voting and rewards tab. A button must also be available to select "already voted" option so that whenever u are done voting you can skip.
4. after voting you are directed to the main account panel for you to do stuff
Pros:
Server get huge amounts of votes
Every player who access website has the chance to gain credits
It will encourage players to vote not only this server but also sister servers
its for the good of both players and server network
Cons:
Nothing i can think of
except for the following:
Money to pay for the web developer
PS:
if resi would remove some automatic features in game
like PK clear by pressing F11 or Reset Char by Exiting game
a lot will access the website
every transaction = vote
if we try to look upon the server stats
we got 1000+ players online daily
but idk how much players pressing F11 to pk clear every day or reset their char everyday. (honestly, in my 2 hours game time in game i press F11 with average of 4 times since i PK a lot)
with this much players we can get huge amounts of votes in no time..
