Information What is Supporters group?

Hey all,

Since a lot people are asking what this new group "Supporter" is, I will try to explain what exactly this group is and what to do to get in.

Supporter is a group that helps the server improve in everything.

1. If you report and help catch hackers, you can get in.
2. If you report people who are insulting, you can get in.
3. If you participate in events such as advertisements, you can get into the Supporter group.
4. If you make guides for the players.
5. If you share game skins, you can get into this group.
6. As additional note, you can participate in all kind of events announced in forum.

• Depending on your activity, you will be in the Supporter group soon, or you can apply for this rank in Staff & Supporter Applications.
• Also, Supporters have more permissions than every other normal group (they are able to see the Report Section, vote in Event Polls, etc.).
• They are below all staff ranks.
• Someday, a Supporter can simply become a Game Master, if they are active and good in their job.

I created this group to improve the community. If a player can help in those ways, and even if they can help in another way, which I will keep secret, you can guess it.
The player can become a Game Master without any problems if they follow our forum and game rules and help with the improvement of the InfinityMU server.

The way to get Game Master status in this server is to help the community, not just ask for it without doing anything. Everyone from the team you see helped me with the improvement of the server from the start. So please be more respectful to the staff members.

As a Supporter, you are obligated to keep the information inside the Report Section only for yourself.
You are not allowed to share information or discuss anything related to the report section with anyone except the Game Master Team and the Administrators.

Understanding the Game Supporter Role:

The Game Supporter role is a valuable part of our gaming community. Its main job is to assist, share information and knowledge with the Game Masters team, making sure everyone has a great gaming experience and fair gameplay. It's important to know that a Game Supporter isn't a staff member but a player who helps the GM team by sharing their game knowledge and insights. To keep things fair, we want to be clear about what Game Supporters can and can't do. They can help players and the staff team understand the game better and share their experiences, but they don't have the power to make big decisions, enforce rules or act like staff member.

Best Practices
Understanding Reporting Rules: Game Supporters should familiarize themselves with the specific reporting rules for each sub-section. When reviewing reports, if a reporter has not followed these rules, will remind them and enumerate any specific rules that were not followed.

Sharing Knowledge and Experience: They will play a crucial role in sharing their knowledge and experience with the GM team. This includes insights into gameplay strategies, and any information that can contribute to a better understanding of the game environment.

• Bug Testing Support: Actively participate in investigating, testing and identifying game bugs and potential exploits.
• Hack Report Assistance: Actively participate in investigating and testing gameplays for any suspected hacking or cheating incidents within the game.

Private Communication Access: Have the privilege of direct communication with the GM team through a private Discord channel designated for the Game Master team and Game Supporter Team. This channel is meant for sharing information, observations, and insights related to the game reports.

Prohibited Actions
Confidentiality: They should not disclose sensitive or confidential information discussed within the forum's report section and GM team's private channels

No Voting for Ban: Do not possess the privilege to vote "yes" or "no" on banning reported players. The role is primarily about providing support and sharing knowledge with the GM team, rather than making final decisions on player penalties or bans.

Avoid Bias: They should maintain impartiality when reviewing reports and avoid taking sides. The goal is to provide objective information, not to influence outcomes. Any actions or decisions regarding player penalties should be left to the Game Masters team.

Avoid Creating Conflict: They should avoid causing or making conflicts worse in the gaming community. Instead, concentrate on making the gaming environment positive and enjoyable.

Refrain from Public Shaming: Avoid publicly shaming or ridiculing players, even if they have violated rules. Report such incidents to the GM team for appropriate action.

Game Supporters should maintain professionalism and respect when communicating with both players and should be open to receiving feedback from the staff team and use it as an opportunity for their growth, both as player and as a person. They should approach their responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and a commitment to following the rules and values of the InfinityMU community.
