Hello , i have an easy suggestion here

I saw that every mod/gm can go anywhere on guild hall and i think thats not correct , because thats a special place for an guild , protected with password

My suggestion is to assign 1 mod for that area or 2 and thats it , why?
Simply because all of them are on different guild ,and maybe i don`t want everyone to see what we write and do there

Guild halls are not so active atm so 1 or 2 mods im sure is enough for that section​

Mods cover their activity each other because not all of them can online 24 hours,
Beside Guild Hall is kinda public place for Guild Member of course,

i don`t want everyone to see what we write and do there

What kind of secret that you have to write there? xD
And duh... we have Private Message if you want to keep your secret!

The purpose why Mod can access all section is to keep the forum clean,
Guild Hall can be wrong use as a spamzone and we want to keep it clean, remember, Guild Hall section is still part of Forum which is still under Forum Rules.

One more thing... I know most of you have your own 'Group Chat' at social media, so this suggestion basically not needed

I dont think that this will be aprooved.
MODs are here to keep the order in forum and catch rule breakers. They can see all threads for that reason.
MODs wont give attention to your peaceful discussions in guildhall but when you are arguing in it.
And if there is a MOD that spreads information from private threads (aka report section, or guild hall) to outhers be sure tha he will be punished.

I don`t believe anyone in year 2019 using GuildHall section for creating strategies and discuss on it. It is on use for just Having a little fun with players only from your guild and sometimes ally. Nothing special about that Hall. Mostly people introductions and a little spam. So, for these little activities you don`t need it be protected against Staff Team. Okei, guild is something special and it belongs only who owns it and its members. So you got it with password way. I understand, Staff team members might be from your rival ally but they are not here in forum for to make things personal or anyways you guys doesn`t have anything special in there for to hide this from staff. All strategies and the other dirty plans are always talked between 3-4 players, not between whole guild anyways :-D You can always have a spy.

EM can't view Guild Hall,
EM + MOD can, obviously
GM have same power to MOD, they assist MOD whenever we need, especially game related (not all MOD have knowledge about game) and they will not interfere MOD's job except is a urgent matter and no MOD active around.

And about secret that you said above, i think Abesta already explain it well and c'mon I already said it before, we know you guys have Group Chat at social media and can discuss little dirty secret there

But when guild master asking for guild hall registration, he also acquainted with "Guild Hall Rules" https://forum.infinitymu.net/showthread.php?9232-Read-Me-Guild-Hall-Rules which it means the guild hall section working under "The Forum Rules" .

There are players follow or unfollow these rules. Then there are our forum moderators appear to handle it.

So since guild hall section also part of forum under forum rules, then there also must be moderators and Of course their work to check if there are any rules breakers and so on, not to copy your personal infomations. As Ezio said, if you notice that your guild hall information spreads to others by any staff member, you have all rights to report any of them.

Pretty well said, as for me I don't really see the point why you do not want staff members to see any of your Guild's Hall. Regardless whatever their position in the staff team, they are still part of the staff. They are in that position for number 1 reason "THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY", Anything they see or any information that they can see in this section will stay in this section. If any information has been divulge by a staff member as what Ezio has said, you have the full rights to report them and appropriate action will be taken even possibly being stripped off in his/her current position in the staff team. This section is part of the forums and members of this guild hall even the guild master himself is obliged to still follow the forum rules. In short staff members are the one who impose those rules, which is actually self explanatory.

Every staff member can check whatever thread he chooses to.

Every Moderator covers the entire forum,we dont have assignments and don't plan to add any for the future.

NO staff member will disclose information outside of the forum or give information to any guild,member or whatever person about what happens here.

I dont see any point of this suggestion.

Oh and one last thing:

What you want and WHAT is usefull for this forum are 2 different things. WE only care about suggestions which BENEFIT the community. We dont INDULGE in people's wishes for every small whim which came to your mind. If we did,this forum would be a complete chaos.
