Discussion Regarding bans using cheats

As stated 1st offense is 365 days ban. 2nd or more is character deletion or back to zero if ever they will decide to unban via donation.

I would like to know what happened to the latest ban which in the ban thread it is stated that it is already his 3rd time being banned for using cheats. Please refer to this link: https://forum.infinitymu.net/threads/zaphiel.142141/

No hate to the player who got banned for cheating but just needs clarification with the new implemented rules.

One of the ban was for auto pots, other one for selling for LOAD, and the last one for SH. So basically it's his 2nd time banned for hack usage.
Auto pots are considered macros. The last ban thread did not state any previous bans for hack usage except one.

I will be glad to delete his account on his next hack usage.

Hi Chad, Just to clarify the situation regarding the Zaphiel account: this account was not originally mine. I purchased it from Brylle, a former Game Master, back in 2014. He sold the account to me shortly after it was unbanned at that time. Unfortunately, I was not aware that the account already had a prior ban history. As a result, those previous violations are now being reflected in the current situation under my name.

Regarding my official ban history, I only have one, which occurred last year when I refunded all of my donations. I understand this matter is confidential, but Venci and other staff members are already aware of it. After serving the one-year ban related to that issue, I requested reinstatement. I returned all refunded donations and paid the required $50 VD unban fee at the time, after which my account was restored.

This recent ban is the only official ban I have as a user. I am not an exiled player, and I do not have a history of multiple hacking bans. There was also an incident in the past where I was banned for flaming staff on the forum, however, that is a separate matter. I acknowledge that mistake, and I am confident it will be both the first and last.

I genuinely love this game and the community. I have supported the server behind the scenes something only Venci and I are fully aware of donated several times every week in the past to help the server grow, without expecting anything in return. (I’m not saying this to put myself above anyone else. Everyone helps the server in their own way. I’m just sharing that I have my own way of supporting and helping keep the server on track.)

Now even if you did not cheat, or rather did not get caught till now, defending actual cheaters is just as bad as cheating. It might imply that you are conspiring with a group of cheaters and supporting them, which is something against the server and our principles. Very bad.

This recent ban is the only official ban I have as a user. I am not an exiled player, and I do not have a history of multiple hacking bans. There was also an incident in the past where I was banned for flaming staff on the forum, however, that is a separate matter. I acknowledge that mistake, and I am confident it will be both the first and last.

I genuinely love this game and the community. That story about him defending and hiding hackers in his bed was fake news. That happened during Harvin’s ban.

He was caught using hacks on a different server if I remember correctly, it was reported by SuperCris or somebody else, not sure tho. But that server belongs to SuperCris. The logs they shared came from that other server, not from InfinityMU. However, since those logs were shared publicly, they were then used here against him. Then they told him sister/related server. Omg excuse me to the staff team, but I have to tell the truth behind that issue I’m just adding additional info just so you know.

Please tell me if I’m wrong I don’t have amnesia. I genuinely wouldn’t stay on his side if the ban was fair. Anyway, I don’t want to talk about it anymore. Thanks.

I totally agree with this topic. Enough is enough with those haxors they're totally ruining the game lmao. @RESiSTANT you will lose more player, more than you gain from the never ending forgiveness that you are giving to those guys. I just dont understand why can a certain player aren't honest to himself. A game is a game, of course its really an amazing feeling if you are that strong but atleast play fair. Where's the fun in cheating?

Since there is also no rules about this kind of situation like previous owners ban is not counted if new owner gets ban. Even if there is or not, the real question here is what tempted you to use hacks though.

As I mentioned, even if the account is bought from another player which already have a record of ban by the way and you just mentioned it above that you bought it after it was unbanned. It is your responsibility as the new owner to play fair.

Also, I don’t know how you purchased an account without getting ban? Is it allowed back then or something?

If ever you smesh smesh me in game, remember it meaningless now that you have been banned for using hax. If you feel strong, maybe its the hax in your head not you being strong. Once a cheater, no one or maybe someone will believe you are clean but not me.

That conversation was sent to Toby by Blaire. It was already being discussed with other senior staff before you put it in this thread, lol. Don’t worry there’s nothing more to it, and it’s not directly connected to the 2022 ban.

I wasn’t banned in 2022 for using hacks; it was because of the words I said against high staff members back then. Feel free to check further it doesn’t bother me at all.
