Calling all veterans, guild masters, and legends from 2008 to today.

THE GREAT INFINITYMU ARCHIVE
Help Us Write History: 2008 - Forever

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Greetings InfinityMU Community,

Since February 2008, we haven't just been a server; we have been a home. While other servers rise and fall in months, we have stood tall for over 18 years.

We are currently compiling the official "Definitive History of InfinityMU," a mega-video that will immortalize the events, wars, and people that made this server legendary.

But we cannot do it without YOU.

We are looking for "Archaeologists" to uncover the past. We need your old screenshots, videos, and memories to build the ultimate timeline.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We need to fill the ENTIRE TIMELINE. Every year matters.

Whether you joined at the start or are a modern champion, your story is part of InfinityMU. We accept submissions from ANY YEAR between 2008 and 2024.

• The Ancient Era (2008-2010): Screenshots of the old Season 3 client, the original Lorencia Bar gatherings, or the very first Castle Siege winners.
• The Middle Ages (2013-2018): The introduction of new events, the Draconite era, and the great Guild Rivalries of the mid-2010s.
• The Modern Era (2019-2024): HD Client updates, the latest Castle Sieges, and current dominating alliances.
• The Guild Wars: Screenshots of legendary alliances (e.g., xVIPx, FactioN, Faculty, Legends, GamePH, WELCOME, UNKNOWN etc etc) in their prime.
• The "Fail" Moments: Did you screenshot a funny bug from 2011+- etc? A GM event that went chaotic? We want the funny history too!
• The Evolution: "Then vs. Now" character screenshots or videos (Your character in 2009 vs. Your character today).
• Everything in Between: Funny bugs, GM Events, Forum Arts, or just you hanging out in Lorencia Bar.

Did you take a screenshot yesterday? POST IT!
Did you take a screenshot 15 years ago? POST IT!

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

[Davido]

Aloha there Infinityians

My name is David know as Davido Hellrazor >BlackHaze and many more (its really hard to remember my names in-game I meant cuz I had more then 1000+names )

Im the one whos playin here since 2009 year.. and still playin cuz I really love to stay here after many years. I can teall ya there is no enough words or letters to explain why im still playin or why im just stay here for a long time.. if u know meh u’ll believe meh as well.. the true Infinityian know what does mean to be Infinityian..

im gonna tell ya all small story about how I just found and started IMU.

I was a Kid what I just starts MUonline games. Firstly playin MUonline from my country (Georgia) after few month im tired of it cuz dat MU I’ve played was not funny or friendly at all. Started to search some good servers tried some but finally found IMU. Was like its another server of wasting a time but hopefully I was WRONG.. just reg and Downoald the game. Jumped in and boom after 16-17 years im still here and playin this game.. like I’ve mentioned this server aint looks like other server. During these years I meet a lot ppl from around the world. I made a lof of friends here and Haters as well still im happy person who has a lot friends in-game or even in-real life from IMU. Im glad as well I’ve a lot friends from old school and they still playin with meh. (its really hard to mention their names, cuz they r many and like I’ve mentioned im glad to have them still in-game and not only in-game) im the person who loves PVP a lot. ( also im the one who manage and own pk monthly event 3x times in a row.. dat time it was really hard cuz more then 100+ ppl were playin the event and it was really hard to manage kill them all.. but I did it )Doesn’t matter im loosin or ownin.. im just enjoy pvp with everyone…

At the starts was bad ass person. Cuz like I’ve mentioned above I though it’s a nother wasting of time server… insulted everyone whom I don’t like and earned more then 50+ acc banned just for insult in like few weeks/month.. after all I just respect the rules and trined to get more mature and get more friends.. they didn’t believe meh dat im changed but I did and im glad for maself .. years passed a lot thing changed. A lot ppl leave the server but a lot joined as well.. after 4-5 years im just became Game Supporter and in 1-2 month I was TGM. Many ppl didn’t believe meh cuz of my Bad past but I proved it to them with dignity.

Well I think its not short at all and not so long.. now you guys can imagine
How many memories can I recall and recount... it will takes some few years

[Tobλ]

I have a lot to share, so I'll post part by part. I will randomly post SS's and videos that I personally like.

Once upon a time @RESiSTANT

w/ @SuperStell in 2013!

w/ @Abesta in 2013!

2009 - The Beginning

But first let's start with a little bit of my background: I stumbled upon InfinityMU in May of 2009 via Xtreme Top 100 site when our biggest Czechoslovak MU server in my country was ending, and I wanted to find a new, more stable server with a bigger community. Though I think there was 1 more international MU server before Infinity, which I joined and tried to play with my real-life friend for a brief moment, but it did not stick with us. And so when I discovered this server in 2009, I started playing daily, very actively.

My first ever character here was a BK named Hacker47, and I played only this. I didn't really bother creating a forum account at first, but I did register a forum account after, like, 5 months? I registered only to report a few missing items. It was not a thing for me back then. This was my first forum: https://forum.infinitymu.net/members/kam.1433/.

I simply enjoyed my time in the game and called several of my real-life friends to play with me. Sadly, they didn't stick around for a long time, but we enjoyed every moment. We had done our share of bad stuff, ngl. For example, one of my friends was very tech-savvy from an early age and created a phishing scam program that promoted free Credits (before Gold Credits). He advertised this program via YouTube (now deleted, sadge), the program asked users to enter their account ID & password before "awarding" them with Credits of their chosen amount. But all the program did was send their credentials to my friend's email for taking. I have no idea how many accounts he has stolen, or if any at all.

Unfortunately I lost every screenshot and memory from this 2009 era. I did not care about preserving anything back then.

P.S: If you want to see how our forums looked in 2009-2010, you can check it here: https://web.archive.org/web/20100803225751/http://forum.infinitymu.net/index.php.

2010 - A New Start

Exactly a year later, in May of 2010, after playing alone with some occasional online Czechs and Slovaks in the game, I decided to turn over a new leaf with a brand new account, a new identity (Wallace), and a newly created forum account to finally and properly join the Infinity community.

Coming back to committing bad stuff for a while. Another time when donating for credits was possible with SMS, I randomly came across a bug with my phone operator where you could send SMS and receive credits, even if you had insufficient credits. I remember being at 0.00 credit, and I kept sending SMS's, each one was -0.06 cents, so I was going into negative, but game credits were still coming my way. This way I and my friends acquired a lot of FO items.

Some time later my balance was suddenly removed to the point of being in the negative. Not knowing what exactly happened, I reported this issue, and this was the result:

Since starting as Wallace, I decided to savor and save every moment. Starting with this:

Very first screenshot!!

Look at that potting speed. I miss it.

More and next years to come later!

Hello first of all i would like to thank our InfinityMU Staff team who were led by RESISTANT, for making this event.

The middle ages 2013 - 2018

I became a member of this server in 2013 and I've met some of the best Staff members of this server, most especially the Game Master Team!

Back in 2013, i was active in game joining on in game events, Castle siege. Also making duels on these maps, Devias 4, Lost tower 1 and if you're tough go to Stadium and you'll see the toughest players of InfinityMU.

https://imgur.com/a/JZ5sXKU

I've met SNatural, Sava, TechN9ne, Jehova, ExitiuM, CRANZY, SyosS, Toby, Jehova, Abesta, Andromeda, Pioxy, SuperStell the most hunk GM and many more (I forgot the rest ). They were the best GM's friendly people, i miss some of the guys. I hope one day they'll be back and kick their ass just kidding. I also remember Cursii the Guild master of Heartz, and i became a member of his guild. And this guy is really kind and one of the best Game Master of InfinityMU. And i think his name on GM position is Cursed, I don't know if im correct.

https://imgur.com/a/OajU2Sk

I also experienced the race event outside lorencia, it was fun riding a unicorn. I hope this event will come back, because it was really fun!

The first uber set i bought was, uber hyon set that was way back 2014 and i followed up with uber Vicious and smok.

PS. I don't have any Screen shots and I asked RESiSTANT, if i can join without screenshots of the past. He said i can get it on google. Thank you!

Hello Infinitians!

I started playing this game on November 22, 2011

up to present date. I've been through the 2 ERAs: The Middle Age Era (2013-2016) But that time, I really don't really mind taking Screenshots. Just making some resets and PvP most of the time. And I believe that the Modern Era (2019-2024) is my most active period ever.

Who is LordFunny In-game?

I am the individual who loves spreading happiness or good vibes in game by organizing MINI EVENTS, GUILD EVENTS and some ALLIANCE EVENT in the past.
And sometimes, I engage in casual conversation with my awesome friends. I also enjoyed playing Castle Siege as well. Especially when the battle of 2 rival guild is intense. It provides us with a huge sense of excitement.

Let's start with the year 2020. this is the only time I started to have some cool Screenshot.

Story of The Evolution
Before I have FO Sets/Items I always drop BOK to get nice set with 2 opt, so I can build a proper defense to farm in game,
I collecting Credits by Voting every 12 Hours, winning ingame Events (DS,BC..)
I still remember my first purchase credits also by using phone SMS xD
After sometime playing I finally bought Uber Kantata and Uber Rave set, because I really like the Plate Set
Its funny because even I never do a PvP Im still buying Uber Items, because I want to support this server even a little

Hello friends,

Today I want to share a short but meaningful story about my journey in InfinityMU a chapter of my life that I remember with deep nostalgia.

It all began back in 2010. At that time, I was just a casual player.

My true addiction to the game began in late 2010, when I met a player named Alexis. He introduced me to Castle Siege Event and patiently taught me how it worked. From that moment on, everything changed. I wasn’t just playing anymore — I was chasing a dream. I wanted to stand out in that event, to make a name for myself, to be remembered.

It may sound silly now, but at 12 years old, all I wanted was for people to say my name and remember me as a great Castle Siege player. Those battles, the teamwork, the rivalries, and the adrenaline of every siege became unforgettable moments that shaped my experience in the game.

I still remember when a player created a community poll to vote for the best participants of the event.
To my surprise, I received the most votes that year among so many incredible players.
It was a small achievement, yet for me, it meant everything.

This is a great video. I remember there were so many BKs comboing and trying to kill me, haha!

Another important moment as well.
I believe I was one of the first InfinityMU players to use MG character in Castle Siege.

Another unforgettable moment for me, for the Latin community, and european friend guild, was when we all came together to form one powerful alliance to challenge the dominant alliances of that era.
I still treasure a video that captures our joy after that hard-fought victory.

To wrap things up, I want to share one of my proudest moments on the Switch. I held it for 1 hour and 23 minutes — something that felt incredible back then. Some players even made posts accusing me of using hacks, haha. Looking back now, it was a funny and unforgettable moment.

This game was a very important part of my childhood.
I’m grateful to the administrator and the staff from those years for maintaining the game with an incredible level of quality and a balance I had never seen before. I truly believe we may never experience balance like that again it was genuinely amazing. It just felt so, so good to play.
