About Dark Raven

Hey yow,

I would to ask about an increase the Dark Raven Skill Damage Function,that will give an opportunity to make the Raven usefull for a Dark Lord Character.

Personly,i like the appearance of Raven,but since it has not any Kind opportunity,unfortunately we are not able to use it.

I would be glad to know the oppinions about this case,

How about adding Defence Increase Options on it?

The main Thing is making Raven Usefull,as much as Shield.

I have to agree the suggestion is good but if we do this DL will get extra damage and that is not needed since he is already tanky and he deals constant high damage on horse without reflect bends and it will unballance the pvp.

I seriously want to see more of the ravens, not just a handy leveling tool for newbies, but there's a very simple reason why a lot of people just won't opt for a PvP raven.

Almost all people opt for shielded DLs because it just feels right, and you might be called insane for being accompanied by a raven in combat. Plus, who has the time to go back and forth to town just to regenerate their raven's life, when the battle is getting insanely intense? Simply having a shield remedies the unneeded hang time in-between battles, that is, spending more time killing instead of tending to your useless-at-the-moment raven.

But yeah, if someone comes up with an ingenious idea for a battle raven, then, yes, I'd love to see it in action someday. :grin:

Yeah i like appearance of dark raven too.

But it's not for today's servers which there're different balance. I do want to say, it's configured for originality which there had to do stats build and Charisma type dark lord was using dark raven. Since there're 32 767 max stats which means huge damage + w/o reflect bends when you're using horse. There're a lot advantage for the dark lords at the moment. If would be there dark raven, i must say it has high attack speed and if it would get more damage, dl can be even unstoppable which will be unfair for another character classes. It's good idea. But webzen is not created this stuff for defense and i don't think that can be changed.

raven is for dmg rate

horse is for defense

Going back to the suggestion,
Somethings never change , they have to stay as they are right now and everything well said in above posts. I will spark few reasons , it won't suit the today's pvp , Dark lords at the moment the most overpowered class and updating their items will just simply break the balance. Imporving the DarkR.. will cause to reduce another DL's skills and it will incorporate the DL's overal strength, too many headache.Shortly, Disadvantages overscores the advantages .

I'd agree with Sava this will only make DL more powerful in pvp and it was made for server like 100x which you can't have all the stats max(32767). Anyway, I'd like to see a DL using raven in pvp as well. Thanks for your suggestion

Nowadays fighting against a DL is not enjoyable and they can have an easy victory while your are burning your 5 fingers to do something. And that raven with the options you suggested will bring more imbalance in it. Plus When Raven hits, his hit stops you because of reflect. Atm we get really hard reflects from DLs, now imagine how hard we get with raven.

I agree with sir Dreams.

I hope this suggestion will be approved in the future when DL are not that OP anymore. On the other side, I wanna see the comeback of the SM for pvp. Aside from SMs only at the sidelines for buff or to slow the enemy with the "Ice Storm", i really wanna see SM fighting side by side with BKs and DLs. I think that should be the focus right now.

I agree with your suggestion, since I'm using DL too, it's quite hard to kill BK with Uber player when you dont have swell, the fact that DL's are tanky but then dont have quite dmg. so If raven have a quite dmg too so atleast it would be fair enough

Back on topic. Its a nice idea. Alot of dl's love to use the horse because of the no ref hits.
Let it increase def can give dl again a OP case because DL with swell is good tanky.

But we can think about it.
