About PVP Quitters

First of all, the Duel system is great. However, there have been several occasions where players just quit in the middle of a duel. I would like to suggest that after leaving a duel 2 or 3 times, they will lose all the duel points they stacked up until the following month's duel point reset (or if they buy ofcourse). I am aware that the "quitter" still ends up losing duel points. Then again, there are players who have earned 30+ duel points and still leaves an ongoing Duel. Duel is exciting. This suggestion does sound too egoistic but hey, this might lessen the chance of players quitting.

Well from my side - I am looking this duel quitter thing as a normal thing. Quitter are in everywhere. Are they losing some duel points, they are. Are they lose their reputations by quiting from duel, they are, so no need to add some other additional functions on this system. This is a game, if they quits from duel nevermind it and call that guy as a "quiter" everywhere you see him. This is part of a game. They dont want to have their names as losers on global post but nevermind, with that maybe they are not a losers but quiters and this is the same thing anyways :-D

But yeah if it is possible to add, player X runned away from duel as global post, then it will be awesome!

Just for my opinion,
Quitting/Loosing = minus 2 points.
Winning by score of 10 or Opponent left = plus 2 points.

So all will have to fight up to the end. Because your opponent will still get 2 points even if you leave in the middle of the fight.

Hmm.. Who will sacrifice their own points just for other, but.. it still makes sense.. what if we increase the points penalty for those who will quit. what ya think?

I like what Abesta's idea. Seeing on global post those who run from duel, and players will be aware who they will be dueling with.

I mean yea quitters are everywhere but they're a waste of time. Say it was a hard fought battle, you've managed 9-6 and then they quit. They lose duel points BUT you don't earn points. And it should be this way, I agree with Nikki, otherwise people will abuse the Duel Ranking.

I have thought about this. Let's say leave penalty becomes 5 instead of 2, even someone who has 50 duel points would have to quit a lot of times which is unlikely. However, think about having a "quit limit" or penalty, where after a player leaves a duel for a set number of times, they will lose all the Duel Points they've earned until the following month (they can buy through webshop ofc). Or just have the inability to duel until next month.

Not a big Deal. Quiters always existed. I remember when I duel ed b4 the duel system that situation. Anyway I agree on the part of the global announcement "User run away from duel and winner is other User"

I'd agree with this. I've encountered many quitters this past few days and I think their name deserves to be posted globally. :nuhnuh:

How about 5 duel point penalty for first leave, 10 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd and so on? Penalty Tier resets every month. The point is, they can still earn duel points eventually, thus they have points to join a duel and quit.

By the end of the day, if either duel penalty increase -OR- 'serverwide quitter announce' would ever be granted, that should help reduce the number of duel quitters.


They be talking big and stuff, lets go pvp, get spanked in duel, left anyway. come here lemme spank you more don't quit dammit
