about the recent uber update...

Rave set is actually just as good as vicious...


another thing we need to consider...
well yeah i do agree that some ubers needs editing but the fact that we need to make hyon+vicious and agnis+browii stronger to match or become a bit more powerful than the updated sets means that its already good as it is before the update...
and if we make the uber sets i mentioned above more powerful to cope up with the newly edited sets means that we are increasing the gap between the FO users and uber users...so id say it was better before it was updated cause ubers are not too powerful and not too weak its already balanced FO vs uber and uber vs uber has lots of possibilities before...


and if i can add something else...just watch the in game market and forum market...thats one other proof that the recent uber update has indeed upset the PVP system...

Yea but we need more variety, it's pretty dull when everyone wears the same sets. Everyone that buys uber, buys it for pvp, so even though the other sets look good, they would still choose the same overused sets if they are better.

Lelouch, double damage rate 20% (is a chance for double damage). If it reaches 100% then it's a problem. In our case 20% ~ 40% is nothing. I've tested Maahes vs Hyon+Vicious and Hyon+Vicious still won the fight. It's all about potting and combo skills.

We haven't made Ubers stronger than Exc F.O. Sets yet.

Imagine a rave set that has almost same double damage rate of uber obsecure (30%), skill attacking rate of uber berserker (+40), if those options will be implemented on one uber people will just buy that piece since it has almost everything (options) we need to kick asses.

I asked you to explain why you think Rave is bad...
 
Rave isn't bad. It's just lacking of Defense options. But having that Decrease Opponent's Def Rating by 10% isn't bad
and please take a look at that double damage increase 35%. Still just like vicious, but remember dude, those percentage
of double damages and other options are just chances to happen during pvp.

The real point is what Mr. Venci said, "It's nothing. It's all about potting..."
 
just a feedback and some suggestion, maybe you could divide those options for sets like you did for banek and apollo, i checked all the uber sets and only one combination is with matching suggestion, that banek pad and apollo pad which i must call "perfect ubers set", for example, 10% double damage rates on mist and hyperion, cloud and garuda, etc. leave those one set that isnt possible to unlock all options if combined with uber swords and lower those def and dmg options to half for each set, just like the old times when uber vicous or hyon is dominating the pvp, then ppl combined them and it became more powerful than just one uber set vic, hyon, others. goes with the saying "two is better than one" i know this isnt fair for those who are happy with their one uber set already and will void the original ancient set options, but this is just a suggestion :)

hyon+vicious may barely have the advantage over maahes but the thing is you needed hyon+vicious to gain advantage over maahes...what if its maahes vs hyon and maahes vs vicious...plus if DD is not that strong how come Vicious+Hyon+Tyr doesnt stand a chance against Mist+SMOK+Tyr...
plus maahes has great def which is already a great advantage...also chance to ignore def is just as good as double damage rate...


and one more time...i dont know why the discussion was focused mainly on hyon+vicious VS maahes when other sets are the same...obscure has 30 DD and 55% def which is really massive...also khons the set alone has 20 DD chance to ignore def and increase def...


and more thing...if hyon+vicious really is better than the other uber sets...how come players are already selling hyon+vicious in exchange of the newly updated sets...
same thing goes with agnis+browii...how come they are already selling these sets in exchange of the newly updated DL uber sets...


to be honest yes...i do believe that the other uber sets needs editing but as of right now i would actually prefer the previous options...

Check webshop, he already started changing options.
 
o_O mist parts will unlock 20% ddr and full hyperion gives 20% ddr + tyr blade 15% ddr+smok 10% ddr :)
 
yeah vicious now is 20% defense rating instead of 5%..good job
 
i saw the update and yes dragon certainly does seem like the strongest set on BK...but still some things were left out...
where would that put mist which was really strong when combined with the uber weapon...
now that dragons are back in business what are we gonna say to those who have sold their uber dragons to get mist which at that time(before the update) was really powerful when combined with weapon...i believe we would run in circles if we focus on editing ancient options...


the main point of the uber update was to make the other uber set somewhat usable right???
here is another thing i can suggest which i believe would work...
one main reason why the other uber set is not being used is not only the option...the other thing is the parts...
lets take kantata for example parts are (armor/gloves/boots/ring of poison/ring of wind) this prevents the user from equipping SMOK so he cant have kantata+SMOK+Tyr his only option was kantata+Tyr+FO combination options was limited specially when the uber tyr was not released their option will be just FO wep...
you probably get my point already...
the suggestion is this...lets revert the uber options back to normal(before the update) then lets edit the parts...given that options can be edited it only makes sense that parts can also be edited...
once more lets take kantata for an example...we will make the parts like this (armor/gloves/boots/ring of wind) this way they can have more options on combination...
on warrior we can remove some parts and remove the shield on obscure so players can combine those sets...
what we can do on the new sets is to add another set that can be combined to it...lets take bragi for example parts are (helm/armor/pants/boots/sword) with these parts adding another uber set is impossible so what we can do is to make the parts like hyon parts(helm/gloves/boots/sword) and then release another dark phoenix uber with same parts as vicious (helm/armor/pants) which players can combine with it...
same thing on maahes...we can add one or two more uber parts then release another black dragon uber...
and we will do same on khons and surtr...
although while doing this we need to make sure that uber dragons and admantine keeps their place as the strongest...and dont bash me yet this is mainly on the set...if they combine the weapon and becomes more powerful than dragons then so be it asd long the the set is stronger...


this way we can make the other uber sets that are currently not being used be used while not messing the currently established balance on the pvp...

Somewhat 50-50 about this one, You're suggesting if we could just revert the uber set parts to something new just for the sake of the PVP stance? Well it's like ruining the game even more, The options updates on ubers was good tho some of the uber sets became so powerful that even the old ubers can't par with it. That's why on my previous suggestion I suggested that bring Hegaton here in our community and edit the stats. but all of the people disagree with that suggestion I don't know why they over think that hegaton is so powerful that even other uber sets can deal with it. I hope your seeing this suggestion on a good part, If this sets are too power why not bring hegaton to match it up. Sine we can edit the stats and the options for it. It's just the same right? Nothing will change tho, Power vs Powerful. I get your point here Lelouch, Trying to say that make the uber sets even on players eyes. But just like the original other ubers are meant to be low and meant to be high, Just like today that they made other uber sets more effective

i believe editing the parts is better than editing the options...it gives more combination options and doesnt ruin the balance of the sets...
and the sets became too powerful due to the update...it doesnt really make sense to edit the options of the uber sets then release something that go head to head with those ubers...
 
Best thing would be if all single sets would have same stats and all combined sets would be a little stronger but have the same stats like other combined sets. Then everyone could choose what set/sets they like and not worry about stats. We would have a lot more variety: leather, plate, scale, dark phoenix would join the party in stadium as well.
Also like Lelo said make 2nd uber for every set so all sets can be combined if people choose to.
