Game Suggestion Auto reset / Grand reset in place

Hi GM's / Admin's / Staff's,

I would like to suggest this feature where we can automatically reset / grand reset in place. Instead of going to lorencia to the Reset master or to the website to reset / grand reset maybe just add a feature where it can be automized.

Maybe just add zen or an item like in the Reset master as requirement to reset or grand reset.

I know it's kind of lazy suggestion but there is nothing to lose in trying and suggesting.

I haven’t been doing resets since forever, but isn’t there also a Reset Master near the Stadium vault, not just in Lorencia? Moreover, using the Reset Master is the only way to contribute to the top monthly reset rankings. I assume the current system is in place for a reason, it accurately tracks the number of resets each character completes within a specific time frame. This suggests that adding an in-game feature similar to the web reset will not count toward the reset rankings, as we already know that using reset feature through web site does not.

Additionally, allowing resets outside the current system could create an unfair advantage for players who aren’t participating in the top monthly reset ranking. They could potentially reset more frequently or with less effort, bypassing the constraints of the Reset Master. This could undermine the fairness of the overall system and disrupt the balance between competitive and casual players reaching for a higher spot in characters with most resets.

Do feel free to correct me if I am wrong though, as my perspective can be subjective in this topic. Regardless, I thank you for your effort to try and come up with something new, that is very commendable, respect.

I can see this suggestion being useful on a low EXP server, where the goal is to reset as quickly and frequently as possible to reach higher levels efficiently.
However, on high EXP servers, I don’t think an instant reset is necessary.
It could actually introduce some drawbacks, such as players camping in one spot, AFK farming, and doing numerous grand resets to easily farm GC.
Given that GC is already easy to obtain on this server.

That said, it was definitely thinking outside the box!

This function is not implemented for a reason. Doing resets on the spot makes everyone be afk and still obtain infinity buff. We all know how important the infinity buff is in each character as this boost your dmg, def, and other things which are essential in hunt and pvp.

We all know that it can be bought although some players opted to do manual reset for infinity buff who grinded their way to 5000 resets. By doing this, income of the server will be lessened since one essential part of each character can be obtained by just doing afk in a map and spam reset.

In my honest opinion, I think it is fair to say that the reset mechanics are perfectly fine now, and we don't need to improve this atm.

In my humble opinion, it has its advantages and disadvantages:
Advantage:
You reset faster, the infinity buff could complete it faster
Disadvantage:
- You would lose the monthly competition for the top Reset
What I could do is add a little more GC per reset with rena <3

If it is also possible, since Infi buff is Reset based. Maybe we can change it to Grand reset base where grand reset is to be done manually. And adding more reset requirement to do grand reset.

You can only do auto reset in pk server (S3). This will kinda help avoid afk players not looking over their character.

Commands like "/reset" or "/grandreset" were the first things I used when I started playing. These small things were important back then, but later on, I found shortcuts that made them unnecessary. Now, you can just open the website, go to the character options, and voilà! You no longer need to type anything—you just press reset. And if you want to join an event, you can use the reset master. Everything here serves a purpose, and nothing is done without reason. As someone who grinded hard back then, I believe these commands are no longer essential, unless "/reset" or "/grandreset" somehow makes a difference that renders the reset master obsolete.

You see, after thinking a little bit more you will find out that in InfinityMU there is no need for auto-reset staying in one place. If i cant AFK, because someone will kill me, if I because InfinityBuff will be GR base then my auto-reset will be senseless once more. Then why? With rena you can max your stats out in 10 resets. Doing 10 reset is easy and worth doing manually. Level requirement is 300 anyways. EzPz. Once again, if it will not benefit you for InfinityBuff then leave it like how it is.
