tried downloading the bandicam from his thread but it shows this virus threat.. Is this safe?

I had the same problem as yours that's why I use other software to record videos.
I try to turn off my virus protection and install that, the result is I can't turn it on again. Now I scan my pc with antivirus and found out virus from bandicam.
I will not recommend that you will continue to install that. Use OBS to record video it's safe and easy to use. Good luck!

Since the link contains a virus and the thread starter suggested another program, I trashed the bandicam thread.
