i know that Admin and Gm's tackle this and decided the update.

the decreased of punishments to those who caught using hacks like AP/AC had its advantage but my concern is if we decreased the punishment players who are using hacks will just ignore it coz we make a less time for them to suffer those punishment. my fear is the increased of players who will be using those hacks. why coz they just get little punishment as before...

what if staff would increased the punishment to 1st time 3mons. or if they want their account to be unbanned they will donate for it for a given amount...atleast they dont just suffer and take responsible for what they did but also help the Resistant in some cases like donation...

im only concern to those who are playing fair just to be clean in playing....coz those who uses hacks are increasing nowadays....

i do agree about the changes but still it would take some effects too to our community...

I have to agree with you, I'm sure they have good reasons the GM team but I personally think if its only 1 month for first offence people are going to start hacking a lot more and be "care free" that could mean more people will be caught but it also could bring more potential hackers.

Totally agree. Once you're caught for using hack for first time it's only 1month ban, which I don't think it would help the sever. As well it will increase the number of players getting ban for using hack and those player that had been ban earlier will start making ban appeal. I really hope that the staff will reconsider about the latest update on banning procedures.

We've made this update in order to get them warned to read the rules and wait them to join back but this time without hack. If someone has abused hack before we will take care with permanent ban.

What do you people think about this: First ban is always as an warning - 1 month or 3 months like xVoLvEx suggested above and second time will be permanent? Or you just want to see the abusers banned for permanent in first place?

I am agree with "Warning" too but only for APers.
I would like to suggest this kind of banning procedure for APers:

1st time - 1 month (it is enough as WARNING)
2nd time - Permanent! (2nd time = 6 month(s) is senseless in my mind)

If they thinks that, 1 month is less time then they will use that AP program once again and it will be their big mistake that if they fail again they will be banned permanent!

I do agree with both Venci's and Volve point of view. About the 1st time banning and 2nd time a permanent ban, I think is a good idea like Venci had said above. 1st time - warning, should be 2 month (lets meet both idea in the middle since one is 1 and the other is 3). 2nd time should be permanent ban, however, they can unban through donation which we've been doing.

Hackers will always be hackers and the way our staff team is dealing with it is really good. They will be ban permanently and can only be unban through donation which to me seem like a fair punishment to them. Why? Because they will have to use money to get their account back, which also is good for the server. Those donation money will keep Infinitymu up and running.

well in my own opinion....hacks are like viruses.... they keep spreading... but if we manage to minimize the hacks our community will be much more better..... when they got caught and banned perma they will be force to surrender there hacks rather then waiting for 1month/6months.... but still there hacks still exist.... we need to minimize the hacking tool of MU by blocking it...

and btw.. i really dont like the new unbanning procedure which is via donation because like me.. im saving 30K GC /60k C for unbanning ... because like me i really cant donate because im just a stundent so im saving GC for unbanning someone and they will offer great......

my comment about donation for unbanning is kinda force

its a new challenge for someone that has been bann to save credits to unbanned there account right??

For me its better to ban them permanently in the first place because if they got caught and banned for 1month they can wait for them to be unbanned and can't surrender the cheat. well this my opinion :grin:

I think it is better to ban them permanently. They can unban by donating and they have agreed to the game rules before they register and cheating is not allowed in this server. So it's clear that they didn't obey the rules so they deserve to be banned permanently. That's my opinion =))

I think they know that using cheats is illegal. So if they don't have money to unban its their fault because they use cheats even though they know that its illegal.

on my opinion, ill vote for the current banning ang unbanning method, in this procedure, even if they unban their accounts, do you think they still have the reputation as before? Also some unbanned players changed, they used hacks before and learn their lesson, now when they find hacks that is currently working, they surrender it to resi, some good example is asungot and graf, it just depend on the player if he will change or not, the banning/unbanning procedure gives the hackers a chance to change, a chance to value their accounts, a chance to pay what they did before.

but hacks is prohibited we can play for fun without using hacks .. yah many filipino's cant donate we all know that ..but its not the reason to use hacks if they dont want to get banned then play fair... we are donator's we donate because we want to get some special gear to make us strong right so those people dont donate they dont need to donate they can pwned us with using hack ..
