Hello fellow infinitians,

As noticed, many players have discovered a damage/defense bug that works especially on the SM class. This bug is with us for a long time, constanly being exploited during Draconite Hunter event, where players can have an insane damage that kills the mobs in few seconds, which results us (as fair players) to be subject of it.

As many people have raised concerns on this issue, the GMs are only inviting us to take a video of proof and report it in the bug section (which also now include a specific area for this bug), but we are very tired of this, because we are only reporting the player abusing of it and that doesn't solve the situation completely. We are investing money through donations, to get a better gear to fight, but it is very annoying that a good gear such as (Atlas+Arthur+Achievement+GBUFF) can't compete with an SM with Ancient Set+Guildless. Threfore, in order to enjoy the best the game, we would like to forward this issue to our beloved @VENCi, hoping that he is able to fix this matter. I understand that beside this server, we all have a real-life, with different problems, as pointed out by @Peaceful and @Djinny, hence we have waited months, but an official statement or solution hasn't been addressed yet.

In order to make the problems more easily to be fixed, I would encourage people to support by sharing out your opinions on this issue, also it is appreciated if you could share how this bug is achieved, if you would like to keep you anonymous, you can also send a private message to our helpful staff.

I want to take this topic to also ask this, these last days the server has a little delay or is it just me, I have seen many players talking about that.
I do not want to distort this great discussion about damage and defense but I am sure it is not a problem of Exitlag or WTFast etc..

Hi there,
I’m a SM lover. Before, sometimes my character got bug and I need relog or re-wear my items to avoid it but now my char got bug everyday even 4-5 times per day and I’m very tired by that. We are players, we donate for good items to PvP, donate for good server, donate for our characters be strong....so I feel really bad when a player use ancient set+ abuse bug kill me (I think too much players who donated will feel like me). I hope our admin Venci can fix it asap.

Indeed everyone has a life apart from gaming and that is not the point we are talking about yet we understand.

This server has over 200 players active nowadays.

The bug has been around for over 1 year? Perhaps more?
How many people abused it?
How many people got banned without the knowledge that they were abusing it?

How many people are going to abuse it since there are no bans regarding that subject?

To be honest this subject should be resolved by now.

I would assume that Venci wants to keep the server alive, and a good way to keep it is to fix some issues or get someone to do it.
There are plenty of experts around here and there. I amm sure some of the staff can help.

Let's all work towards that goal please.

I think the Admin have been tackle this problem and they find ways of this. Bugs is not easy to resolve because this is a System and Big work. but admin can give solution of this through ban those character or account of 1 month or 3 months not only 7 days ban because they will continue bug abuse because only 7 days ban.

I know the hardness and the efforts of our staff, but make action and updates the player of the progress so that they will give them assurance that you are working on it.
If you are worried that if you fix your player will be low. Don't worry about it. if a player sees that this private server is excellent no bugs, no cheaters, they will choose this private server.

If there was someone gone there were someone will come.

Hi friends,

While I am struggling resolving the achievements bug which causes dmg/def/hp increase upon few character switches, I am forced to disable the achievement powers in Server-1 Necron as temporary solution as the abusers are concentrated into server-1.

Please do not be confused if you notice your achievements this way:

Till the fix is ready it will be much more fair in draco hunt @ server-1.

About lag/delay every hour - there will be short maintenance later tonight (16.1.2021 - after CS day). The problem will be resolved.
The rest of the planned updates are in progress (98.00%). Few important stuff to be finished.

I agree with the previous topic ( sorry if I made you feel weak because of my sm :v ) the little angel should be banned, not for abuse of insects, but for abuse of nab xD
Taking seriously if there are mistakes some sm kill the hunts with 1 hit and that is only seen more than all in fighters as everyone wants to grab draconite.
that problem is time, and as supercriss said, there is also a lag in the game.

I will not say that I donate because I don't, but I am one more infinity.
I also strive to have my uber with draconite, so much bta that I had, until I left it for hacks mostly.
but we already have a solution for that, we await the solution of the dmg and defense.

To be honest the frustration is real now, more than last week, much more than two weeks ago.

I haven't seen a proper fight in the game for over two weeks. I mean, no hacks or bugs being used.

Draco Hunt.. Pointless, most of the time it is bugged, whether you are alone or not, whether there is someone abusing the bug or not.
Personal experience, two every three hunts is bugged.

I would say that my activity in the game over the last months has decreased a lot, especially since the beginning of the year. For the same reason.

About lag/delay every hour - there will be short maintenance later tonight (16.1.2021 - after CS day). The problem will be resolved.

as he is not replying to my discord. i will write here down what i wrote him.

I suggested for removing all the achievment buffs till its 100% fixed, i also told him to open the test server for public testing, and all those who find new bugs can get rewarded.


I can see a new strike comming from this. players are tired of it, staff members are tired of it.

your promised all your players that you would reboot the server 2 weeks ago, you didnt do it because you wanted to fix your bug first. but as it is taking to long, and players are more afk doing nothing because they lost the fun in fighting because 90% is bugged, they wont do pvp.
and its a pvp server without pvp great.

you will start losing more players each day solong this is active.
Just start to listen and start doing what you promised.

I paid for the achievements but I prefer to lose them, I don't really mind losing my money or changing the price for another item, I prefer to play better and please, we all want to make PVP but the server is very frozen these last days.

I am aware that the server has to advance with the new seasons but I miss the old infinity
where we all could PvP without any problem and used a lot of Sets, swords.

PS: I'm sure this is another bug, every time you die your character is reborn with a lot of damage, you can even kill with 1 hit.
I will try to record to show but I am sure that many know.

Currently the server has many AFK users, I am sure that if they only allow 1 connection by IP I am sure that we do not complete a server because we all use 2 accounts on a PC or even more.

The ideas to improve as a community are present, only you are missing.
I also shared some screenshots where a user is inviting people to their server and sells their Infinity account and you never responded, I understand that the correct thing is to report in the forum but hey ... "ex staff"

I'm sure everyone prefers to lose their achievements in exchange for playing better and also eliminating the delay, because to eliminate the delay you need to restart the server and when you manage to solve the problem simply activate the achievements again.

The server needs new events, new motivations, new things.

Even when I was part of the staff I remember that I saw some topics about new missions I proposed good events, what happened with the titan uber set?

All excited waiting for the titan and nothing, you can simply add the titan uber in an exclusive event like the dracos items, sometimes it is better to motivate people and not sell everything for money.

This is without intention of offending anyone, it is simply my feelings..

Since everyone is saying so. I can add that my little team are pretty inactive nowadays. We waited and waited but yet there is no changes. I used to play 7-8 hours back in summer, now I think I play 1 hour daily, I personally would play and PvP in this great server that I joined in 2011, but I can’t lie that there is a “domino effect” going on, in simple words, as the number of players decrease in stadium, the remaining people are influenced by this (and that’s me), because whenever I join in the game I see less and less people in Stadium, or just the same few, hence, I started to be less active. I can’t find a reason behind that, but I personally think that many players are unmotivated due to the lack of response, as we raised our concerns.

Tbh this is an actual issue created by YOU, PLAYERS, because no matter what, you always seek to go to Venci. Report? Venci. Bug? Venci. Want a tag in forum? Venci. Sneezed 3 times? Venci. Where do reports and bugs go? In report section. Where do you ask tags? To LMod / SMod. Sneezing you can report to your nearest doctor. Like this is actually pissing me off at this point. Stop asking him everything. Your request won't take long, just a few mins, but there are 100 like you and then boom, whole day spent answering stuff that other members of staff could have answered. If WE say, that you have to go to Venci with your issue, then it's okay to go there, since we know what we can handle and what only Venci can. But when you go with your "check my PM" accross 5 platforms and your PM consists of "when will I get items I donated for?", you effectively waste his time with that PM alone + all you sent with "check my PM sir admin boss". WE, STAFF, ARE HERE FOR REASON! We try to lessen his workload as much as we can but it's you who keep putting more on his plate every day, effectively making it more difficult to work on anything else than your little needs that can't wait more than 2 hours w/o "check my PM pls". He wants to help you all and he won't just send you to us, he will try to help you, and it WILL waste his time that he could have spent fixing the game. Instead of asking him everything, ask US. We will help as well and in the meanwhile save time for Venci so he can spend more time fixing stuff. Get this through your skulls ffs.

I remember many occasions of my guys reporting players abusing tele, trade, and lag exploit bug on forums, some were clearly macros, well none of those reports were looked, or straight up decieded. Then again we can't report personal problems such as missing items and what not on forum as Venci is the one who hauls all to work to himself alone....so whats your point? : P

we are kinda off course here but....

we stopped banning players for teleport bug beacuse venci couldn't fix it, the amount of reports we would have if we were still banning for this bug abuse would be insane.
same thing happend with the recent achievement bug, within the month of january with had over 40 reports, therefore we decided its enough because it consumed too much of our time of focusing on other reports and other things.

"well none of those reports were looked" every report is looked, some just take more time to handle.
some reports didn't follow the reports rules, and therefore they weren't proceeded.

about the bug section, we are handling reports differently lately, we have our own private section where we order things to make it easier for him to handle stuff, and making sure he is viewing these threads.
the rest of the bugs, missing items which are related to character issues are handled by him at the report section, and we forward them to him when he hasn't view them for few days.

But isn't it part of the duty bro? Duty of being Game Master. You think everyone have an age or gaming experience to directly understand what to do at any situation? Some of the players get panic and spam the PM of any GM they catch. I believe you never receive such PMs from familiar names that you already know they have knowledge about how things work here. It is always possible some players will not follow report format either while there is a written format. Because, at first place they can be not at our ages. Kids acts different and thats real that GMs at age of 26s sometimes had to deal with 14years of kid or have to be polite with them like they are even elder than that GM. That is the part of duty, sometimes you manually teach players how things are done patiently.

Secondly, if players continuosly Spam PMs about their problems, specially with easy to answer ones like "I donated, 10 hours passed and where is my gear?, then this happens probably because GMs not spending their times in Game with players asking problems generally. Staying offline and only being at forum waiting players asking their problems only by forum threads is ridiculous. Please be sure, it not means i blame any GM, I dont even know how often GMs are logging into the game. But my experience tells me that those problems can come from these reasons. Every one hour or two, there have to be visible GM at the server. You guys are many, that can be done, players can be controlled but dont blame anyone please. You guys are leaders, if players under your hands doesn't do well, then problem comes from leaders that couldn't guide players well. Believe me, it looks annoying when GM complaining about players, lets say "disturbing" them and not just doing things right by themselves

Maestro, grudges can be done trough pm's in forum, game etc...
Soul Master bug is a big problem.
Nikki..what other option there is than what Venci done for server 1 ? If none.. then why not to remove it from server 3 untill the update is done?
I may say the server laag also is another that contribute a bit of giving up to pk.. but so far i understood it can be fixed with a server restart.

@Abesta Even old members who have been here for years are sending me pm's about reports.
I didn't say they should't send pm at all, i just said its the wrong thing to do because they will have to wait more time instead of having a gm which is free to review their report.
My pm's are open for every player who want to ask anything, i have no problem with players "spamming" me.
