Introduction: This was sparked by my recent loss to necroboyz in the event My Beautiful Country. No worries, I liked his photo as well. But I don't think it showcases the beauty of the country which is the main point of the event since it is only a photo of sunset and trees and no actual landmark can be seen.

last month's entry was a sunset
now is a sunset too
maybe next month will also be a sunset xD

but anyways well deserved entries i hope more entry variations next month.
i will try to join this event next month//

Suggestion: Maybe the mods can host another event where we can showcase our "photography skills" it will not require a lot or big prizes like our current events, top of my head is 2k GC and 2 IMES point. or maybe renaming the current "My Beautiful Country" into something that will showcase photography in general. Mods can check if they're already posted anywhere on the internet by backsearching the image on some sites, just to be sure that it isn't posted anywhere.

Well for me this is a good suggestion
but a strict mechanics is needed like

raw shots shud be uploaded or set in a .zip file to verify authenticity of not editing
Lightroom or filters not allowed and more.. but i think not everybody can join the event they have no DSLR camera, phone cameras should be allowed too many phones now has lot of good camera..

If you wanneer suggest something you need to lose the cry part in the thread.

To add. A sunset in your own country is a PIC of your beautifull country...

Edit your post first so i can read.
Do not use very dark or very bright colours, it's a common sense rule around any forum.

Nikki: It is an intro. Also I don't have anything against sunsets. Prof's entry last month was also a photo of
a sunset, but his entry showcases the beauty of the bridge under the waning light of the sunset, that makes it prettier. But sure Nikki I respect your opinion :winkk:

Heres my opinion..
i felt the same way you did when i was trying to catch the attention and votes of staffs before. No doubt that my feeligs were yours as well. You know what i did?? I made a much better entry and keep trying my best until finally. I have won 3 straight events in a row.. Tip: the staffs arent dumb to not notice your efforts and your creativity. In fact they are more wise in choosing the winners since the rewards are much bigger and better. Maybe your luck isnt today. Im sure in the future your entries would be much more of an eye catcher and you could win every single event out there. This is my mantra:” Believe in yourself, and never compre your wit and creativity to others. Instead make yourself vulnerable to what your comfortable doing. Do your best and try harder. In the end, victory is in your hands”
