Game Client don't work on Window 8.1

I have a computer with Window 8.1. When I click button connect on the laucher, no thing happen, I tried many times but, it still dont work, pls help me. :you're kidding, rig

Make sure your anti-virus does not block the client, turn off your firewall and re-install the client. If it still does not work reset your IP.

Did you tried opening it with administrator rights? (Run as Administrator)

Hello,

Can you be more Specific about your problem? Can you provide some Screen Shot? Is there some Error? Let us know what is the main problem or it just don't open after you connect did you check the compatibility? If you got Antivirus did you add main.exe in exception list? If it's not add you main.exe in your antivirus exception list.

It does work on Windows 8.1 pro fine.
Try to remove your smart screen. Use via search. It will bring you to control panel.
Try installing the full game client. If so. Try opening the autoupdate.exe

go to InfinityMU folder>main.exe>right click >compatibility mode>windows 7> check run as admin.

thank for all help, I tried all, but it still doesn't work. I also try other MU SV, and this problem appear again, I think My PC can't play MU :sweat:

I'm running on Windows 8.1 and the client works like a charm. This are the usually issues I encounter when my client automatically closes:

1. Always update your OS(Windows Update)
2. Check if your drivers are properly installed and updated
3. Add an exception on your Antivirus and Firewall
4. Install/Update your DirectX and Net Framework

Bruh, I use windows 8.1... I also experienced this when I first installed the game and I was like,,WTF!!,,

then what I did was,

-I re-installed the game,
-Ran Auto-update instead of the main.exe as administrator
(Right Click , Run as administrator)

After that I was able to connect.

I want to add here try to use mu.exe icon ( go to InfinityMu Folder and search mu.exe)

I have windows 8.1 aswell the only time i was never able to connect was when my internet acting up. Sometimes the conenct button wasant even there.

about w8.1 i'm not sure if there is a complete software for games, coz i've tried and tbh i didn't get what i was expecting . i advice to change a windows 8 o w7
