Hello, ladies and gents!

Welcome to our InfinityMU Author Event, September Edition.
This month we will choose a topic and you will create a POEM based on that topic, and post it here.
The POEM must only be regarding the topic that we will provide. Prepare your poetry skill and become our
InfinityMU Author


Topic: Foe
Describe your experience by adding details about our lovely server and your new sets, weapons, shields, friendships, guilds, allies.
Put this into max of 12 lines and share your experience with us.
Now it's your chance to show us your poetry talent!



Rules of the event

1. Members with 10 posts and above can enter the event.
2. Each participant can join with only 1 POEM.
3. Do not copy a POEM from the internet.The staff members will keep track of the originality
and validity of each stories, if you break the rule your entry won't be accepted.
Please check rule no. 17 from the Forum Rules.
4. Stories with offensive language will not be accepted.
5. The story size should be a SHORT POEM - YOU HAVE TO WRITE A POEM
WITH A MINIMUM OF 8 LINES AND MAXIMUM OF 12 LINES
6. The story you submit must be created based on the topic we provided.
7. Normal font is required.
8. Entries submitted after the given deadline will not be accepted.
9. Write your In-game name(IGN) above the entry that you are going to post. If you don't provide a valid IGN your rewards will not be added.
10. All entries should be submitted IN THIS THREAD until the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.

Originality
Mistake free
Composition
Sentence construction
Grammar


The prizes:

1st PLACE:
10,000 gold credits + 10 FIMES
+ your entry will possibly be added in the InfinityMU Wiki Page
+ the awesome Poetry Master Tag for 1 month.

2nd PLACE:
5,000 gold credits + 5 FIMES

3rd PLACE:
3,000 gold credits + 3 FIMES

Consolation Prize:
Entries that have at least 1 vote will get 500 Gold Credits + 1 FIMES

Foe

It is You I shall grant and bestow,
My highest commendation as a Foe.
Till then and now, I want you to know,
I'm here to overcome and overthrow.

Your very existence invites challenge beyond compare,
One I cannot ignore while I'm lost in despair.
I thought of you as my greatest hindrance to my glory,
You are the hero I created at the end of my story.

Alas! we have finally met,
It was Me all along something that I regret.
Battling myself was as dark as my shelf,
The only Foe I have was only myself.






"p.s. never underestimate mental health issues, people suffer from it everyday without them knowing. They are killing themselves.
Seek help if you feel that you're experiencing mental health issues. Having those is not a joke, It is a real battle. One that we cannot fight alone.
I know this entry did not follow the rule regarding the topic only about InfinityMU related. But we got to start somewhere to be heard as a player having this health issues. If this entry gets denied, i can understand.
An awareness is all i can serve, im currently battling one myself but im fighting it because i am brave and strong, and so should you.."​

Tonight, it feels very cold;
It seems infinite and it is more than boring.
The time has come, and I can't play.

Tonight, it will be an eternity;
my only company was the community;
I love you so much, I miss you so much;
to spend one more night without you INFINITYMU, it seems like an eternity.

Tonight, a great emptiness is felt;
that I won't be able to play with my friends;
my body is in bed, my mind is in the community;
everything is because my computer my mother damaged it.

Tonight, I have learned something; That is that without you, I feel lost. One last thing I want to confess to you;
I adore you INFINITYMU, and without you I cannot be.

Foe

I started playing Infinity MU and made friends.
I joined to a group that happiness never ends.
They help me to be strong and to use equipments.
Accompanied me to hunt, they never leave every moment.

The time that we met our enemy.
Their skills are impressive and extraordinary.
That I was thought that I am still weak and wimpy.
But my companions did not hesitate to help me.

They gave me powerful equipments.
To keep up with strong opponents.
My companion never leave me behind,
They are such a great team I ever had.​

Eyes that turn as blue as the sky,
That either me or you was able to cry.
Whom my heart aches for one terrible lie,
For letting me think that you were once mine.

Tears fall like rain into my eyes,
When you left me and said your goodbyes.
That nothing good was able to apply,
For a love that could never truly be mine.

All was well when you let my heart die.
And left me with a question of why?
That broke my wings and i was not able to fly,
To someone i thought, that could once be mine.
