- Experience on InfinityMU:
I was introduced to InfinityMU way back in 2018, during a time when macros (auto-combo and auto-potions) were still allowed. I was looking for a server where I could play again after spending my high school days on other MU servers, hoping to relive the nostalgic gaming experience I had during my childhood.
I made a promise to myself that once I became financially independent, I would donate for Uber sets and become one of the strongest BK's on the server.
Fast forward to 2018, when a friend introduced me to InfinityMU, I finally had the opportunity to fulfill that promise. Being able to donate for Uber sets was truly a childhood dream come true for me.
InfinityMU was also my first experience with a server that allowed macros and auto-combo. I was so excited that I even bought a new gaming mouse and its software just to become more competitive in the pvp scene. From there, I joined several guilds and actively participated in both in-game and forum events. I was fortunate enough to win a few events as well, including Kronwell’s Birthday Party and even Infinity Idol.
One of my most memorable experiences came in 2022, when I became actively participating in pvp, cs and also had the opportunity to serve as a GM. By this time, macros were no longer allowed, and all combos had to be executed manually. This change made PvP more skill-based and immersive. Participating in stadium pk's during this period meant fully engaging in the fight, managing potions, timing skills properly, and executing combos in real time, which was both challenging and a lot of fun.
During this era, the Combo Master tag played an important role in making sure reported players during that time with the tag are known to have good combos and of course were not using macros. PCH were also especially enjoyable, as players were required to record both their hand movements and their in-game screen. These measures helped promote transparency, fair play, and trust within the community, and they deepened my appreciation for InfinityMU’s commitment to balanced and competitive gameplay.
Overall, being part of this long-standing community has been a pleasure, and I would like other players especially newcomers to experience the same fun, excitement, and thrill that InfinityMU has given me over the years. I hope to contribute and help serve the community so it can continue to grow and thrive.

- What are your biggest weaknesses?
Overcommitment - I sometimes find it difficult to say “no” especially to my superiors which can lead to taking on more tasks than I can comfortably handle.
To improve this, I usually prioritize requests and organize my workload to ensure I remain effective and consistent in my responsibilities.
Sometimes lack the confidence - I have experienced confidence issues in the past, particularly in voicing my opinions. I always try to overcome this by making an effort to speak up when my input is relevant and beneficial to everyone.
- What are your biggest strengths?
Solid work ethic - When I'm working on something, I don't just want to meet deadlines. Rather, I prefer to complete it well ahead of schedule and of course of finish it with high quality.
Leadership skills - I pride myself on my leadership skills and my ability to resolve potentially difficult situations. I had previous experiences dealing with people and difficult situations since I was an organization president during my college days, and I am also a team lead on my job. Using these past experiences, I have learned to understand and resolve issues effectively.
On a related note, I also have strong communication skills, which I believe can work hand in hand with my leadership skills and can help me to work well with our servers moderators and game masters in the future.
Being open minded to change - Being open-minded is essential for us to grow because some issues can't be tackled with conventional methods. This strength would enable me to look past ideas that didn't work and think of fresh out of the box ideas which in turn would help our server and it's players to enjoy playing InfinityMU.
- Why should we hire you?
Playing InfinityMU has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life and ignited my passion for computer games. It is also one of the reasons I became a software engineer, with InfinityMU sparking my interest in technology from an early age. Even today, I see new players discovering InfinityMU alongside returning veterans, and being able to contribute to this historic community, supporting both new and longtime players would be a true honor. I am committed to helping maintain a fair, enjoyable, and engaging experience for everyone on the server.
Sincerely,
Johon
