Discussion Los Angeles for Indonesia, Malaysia & Singapore Players

Dear Infinitians,
When the SEA Server was open I notice many Malaysian players are comeback to play, it was understandable since the SEA Server give many low ping for them,
I myself also surpirse how smooth the connection was.
And when SEA Server is closed, some Malaysian friends of mine sadly felt couldn't play at Canada Server, it was because the High ping and the lag is severe, so they can't enjoy the game.

I purposing to Staff Team to allowed Los Angeles's Proxy Server for using in VPN,
there is no without reason;
Los Angeles proxy are more lower for Indonesia & Malaysia (Since Singapore are very close so I include it as well)

Before LA was restricted in VPN Rules, I always use them years ago,
But when I came back saw the LA are restricted so I change to Chicago, which is give 230~250 ms to me,
since I'm only playing PvE this might not very affecting me, but for Indo & Malay who like PvP they are struggling to playing.

Hi,
Before Los Angeles servers in VPNs were allowed and later forbidden because they create lags that can cause "1 hit kills". It's showing + offering low latency indeed but Los Angeles VPNs are lagging and not offering smooth gameplay unlike using directly Canada.

For Malaysian players we can allow Los Angeles if it's proven to be lagless for them. We need videos showing how players are connected to Los Angeles server VPN and their gameplay in PVP.

Game Rules Update for Lag Abuse [05/28/2025]

-Los Angeles
-Miami

Los Angeles and Miami connections have been REMOVED from the list of allowed locations. This is because New York, Chicago, Montreal and Toronto are geographically much closer to the Game Server, making them more ideal. Los Angeles has consistently shown lower performance for Asian players due to its distance from Canada, and the same goes for Miami, especially for players from South America and Europe.

Logically, you won’t get better or more stable connections from these far locations, especially when there are plenty of optimized servers available in Montreal, Toronto, Chicago and New York through services like Pingzapper, ExitLag, and Semlag (known GPN servers).

All players are given one week to adjust your VPN connections.
Starting now, connecting through Los Angeles or Miami will result in a warning. If you fail to comply after the warning, we will proceed with banning procedures for lag abuse.

Effective Date: 05/28/2025

In my opinion, the LA server is actually pretty good, with a relatively low ping of around 190–200 ms. However, in my experience, even when using an LA proxy with about 190 - 200 ms, my pot rate feels very slow. That's why I tend to agree more with Doraemon's explanation. I think the best proxy is usually one that matches the server's location, or another Canadian proxy.

Information Thread 'Understanding Latency, VPN Routing and What You’re Doing Wrong'

Hello Infinitians,

We’ve seen a lot of confusion lately about ping, latency, and VPN routing. So let’s set the record straight once and for all.
First of all, I don’t know how else to explain this more clearly, but if you still refuse to understand basic routing, server geography, and how the internet works in 2025 when literally one Google search gives you the answer, then you’re just hurting your own gameplay.

So here it is:
The game server is located in Beauharnois, Canada .
That’s the actual location where the game is running.
No matter what...

I personally use CA Beauh.. or Montreal 1, and they seem to work better for me.


As for the Singapore server, I'm sure all of us Asian players liked it. But there must have been a specific reason why it was shut down. For me, as long as I can have fun and enjoy the game, the server location doesn't really matter.
