I need some help with my wi-fi/internet connection.. the problem is IT DISCONNECTS ON ITS OWN.. I don't know why..? but for some reason it usually does even though i'm not playing MU or anything.. can anyone pleaseeee help me with this problem? it annoys me alot like for real.. pisses me off. :arghh:
Thanks in advance. :)

are you sure its your desktop? try to connect your PC to another wifi network, you can use your android or iOS device to make a wifi hotspot and test.

Hello buddy,
I have some ideas you might try to use in order to fix your problem. In order to fix the disconnect problem, please follow these steps. Have in mind that you can try them only in Windows 10 and not in any older version.

1. Right-Click start menu and select Device Manager
2. Expand Network Adapters
3. Right click properties
4. Click Power Management
5. Uncheck the box entitled "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

Most users of Windows 10 who face the same problem like you, by following those steps i mentioned before do not face problems anymore. If this doesn't work for you for any reasons, you can try the following steps.
1. First you have to go "open network and sharing center " then click "Diagnose and repair". Make sure your modem is connected to a working phone jack or cable connection, either directly or through a router or LAN cable is connected to your pc.
2. Reset your modem and router. Remove the power cord from the modem and/or router, wait at for couple seconds, and then plug the modem and/or router back in.
3. Check your router / LAN cable. Because of the new networking features in Windows 10, some older network routers are not fully compatible with Windows and can cause problems.

If after trying those steps, there is still problem with your internet connection then it has to do with your network adapter driver. If it's outdated, then download the latest network adapter driver and your problem should be solved. I hope those steps might help you in order to fix your problem. Good luck.

It is.. it happens once in awhile.. usually when i play InfinityMU, you know it immediately turns off when MU freezes, I have to click reconnect/connect to be able to put it back on actions. I wouldn't want to use my hotspot as it uses so much data.

Did try everything, thank you for your help and support, I'll just give it a little time and see if it doesn't disconnects on its own. :)

So did you test those methods? You got a solution to your problem or not?

Make it sure to " update " your
Qualcomm Atheros
go to: Manage > Device Manager > Network adapter > Right click in Wireless Network Adapter Qualcomm Atheros > update the driver software
> Choose the first option " Find automatically a driver software online ".

You should have an issue with drivers, this is one step to have stable your "wifi " connection, also Follow what Insomniak says, it should be fine after it.

Maybe you don't have Wireless Network Adapter Qualcomm Atheros because this adapter is only for laptops. Just try to follow the steps i post before, i think you will find a solution.
