Hello Infinitians!

I was thinking about opening a news paper / newsletter / article for our server so I'd like to ask you all if you would be interested in it.

What is The Infinity Star? It will be a monthly newsletter in which both staff and members of our community (people who apply for the position) together will make a news-article which will outline all the events, updates, and anything news worthy that happened for that month. The purpose of this is to get better community involvement and also to attract more people to our server. If you want an example of how it will look click here or copy and paste the URL below

Current team roster
At this time we don't have anyone as writers or editors so I'd like to ask the community if they'd like to apply, if the news-letter is started then we'll begin recruiting process.

The members of the Infinity Star team will receive a special tag along with a special usergroup in the forums. They also will be rewarded for their hard work with a small credit salary after each successful article written. The tag will look like the following but with Infinity Star group text.

A new hype in the server! this should be fine as keeping track of the news and the what's and whats of the server can be good too. This could be another way to help the server to have more something thing to talk about and more people will be more active. Voted a yes for this one!

Why would it be made up , if people want it even if im the only writer ill write it every month because I think it's fun and people may enjoy it. Also it bring more creativity to our server, I mean our own news-letter / article? Pretty cool if you ask me not to mention the community involvement, which I love and always want.

Also not to mention that HGM Wayne is formerly a wiki team member LOL! I saw your works on our wiki page and its quite interesting. I may have messed up before but doing articles and writing is one of my hobbies, Ill work with you once this gets approved.

Since majority of people want it, and I think it will be fun lets approve this idea.

The monthly newsletter/article will be written at the end of each month. We'll make one this month also and it will be posted on February the 28th (end of the month), for this months issue likely I might write it solo unless we can recruit some members in this short time. I look foward to sharing this with the community and for the community to help write it.

The members of the team will get a special rank in the forums, similar to the Wiki team and also receive a nice compensation for their efforts and work after each successful article is written.

Recruitment thread will be opened up later on today, if you have a medium level of English (writing) and you have some time to spare feel free to apply to one of the positions, there aren't any strict regulations as of yet but we'll need around 4 members to help, and if it's successful we can always recruit more. This is a community run article so the content is entirely based around our community.

Recruitment -

So as I've previously mentioned we'll be recruiting 4 members, to begin with, however everyone in the community has input on the article it's just these 4 will help write it to maintain quality and entertaining work. If you're interested in joining the team you can leave a small application in a post below and based on your qualifications we can hire 4 people. If there is interest in this we'll hire more members and increase the size of the newsletter / article.

Current Positions -

I.Star Leader - Manage the organizing of the articles and formatting, basically organize the team and get things done on time.

• Will be chosen after and the person who can best maintain the group will be given this spot

I.Star Writer - They will be writing sections of the news letter, and the different sections are written below:

• Introduction

• Events that happened that month

• Upcoming events

• Wall of Shame (banned users)

• (more sections will be added as they are suggested)

I.Star Designer - Managing the design of the newsletter, must have some GFX talents ofc. (for now i'll cover this spot till someone wants to do it)
I.Star Editor - At the moment i'll be doing the editing (spelling etc.) but once again if someone else wants to do it they'll cover this.

I know this may be a bit overwhelming but if your willing to try go ahead post an application, I'll be there to teach every single member on how to format, write and maintain the article also it's not something that will take up a lot of your time, just at the end of the month (or near end) we'll work together each on different pieces and then post it (publish it) on the forums. Also if your confused about the positions, basically Writer is the main one, they will be covering all of the article, the others are also important however most work is involved in the writing process.

Reason for joining:
Well, I have experienced writing an article on a magazine when i was in college. That time I was once part of that team as one of the article writers. But for this community i haven't experience it yet but i'm excited to be part of this team. It's also one of my hobbies before and i want to improve this skills and be better by joining Star TEAM. Hope i will be one of them

Time that you can spend: I can spend most likely 8-9 hours everyday so this won't be a hard time .

Reason for joining:
- My reasons are quite simple, to help the community and to be of service to it as to the reason that it is more of my hobby, I've been doing some articles before as some of you are aware of that. I believe I maintained and developed our wiki page in the time of my work as a wiki with the supervision of our Admin Of course. I PMed HGM Wayne even before the the section was approved, I told him that I would love to help him out in this section and would be an honor to serve the community even without tags nor rewards. I asked him if I can join the team with just an Infinitan tag and not as a wiki star for I believe some would disagree from me having such tag, I honestly dont need the tag to help the team I can write and fill the news article without it, as I am still open with that idea. However I was instructed to make one right now so here I am applying for it. Im here to help not for tags nor rewards if tgis application would be disapproved might atleast allow me to help with my abilities that Ive shared through our wiki.

Not that I am bragging but my female teachers and professors get the chills whenever I make essays. They "you know what" themselves. xD LOLjk. I let people judge me, so yeah, cause I feel I'm a braggart for saying that I am good and I would rather let people judge me whether they are positive or the opposite. Opinions never bothered me anyway (Frozen Reference).

Reason for joining:
I've been here for 5 years and I think it is fair that I share my services to this incredible, one-of-a-kind, and excellent server. They given me the chance to somewhat learn something more in life so I want to thank InfinityMU for giving that chance by serving them this time. Helping out was never been a hindrance in my life. I truly believe that we were all born to help, aid, and serve one another according to the will of the Higher Being I really don't mind much of the rewards. But hey, I'm not gonna be a hypocrite to say that I don't want any and reject such rewards since these are satisfying. I look deeper in the works I make. I always aim for improvement, for the better of myself, and for the good of the community, of course. Lastly, I just want to influence the people around here. We all do not know what may happen but maybe, just maybe, that I might even help someone who needed assistance in their selves. So yeah. One love.

Time that you can spend:
Up to 4 to 6 hours during weekdays even with college works. Even half day if university or real life works doesn't strike my pace. About the overall activity I have for the mean time. I am always in forum but do not post a lot for I would rather prefer to post quantity of posts that are meaningful from the way I see it. Still, avoiding stuffs to post is somewhat impossible.

Reason for joining: hi guys , i'm here to join the star writer team and i'm here to help the admins to send and update all players, so that they will know if there's incoming big event and also a news and updates. So that the players of infinitymu know's what is happening to our lovely server. And if there's a chance to be apart of the star writer i will do my very best and also help a lot of player's. hmm, i know that my overall activity is too low but i can improve it that's all thank you to all staff members and admin's.

Time that you can spend: i can spend 5 to 7 hours a day , but in week ends i can be online 8 to 10 hours max.
