First Step
Turn on the skill you want to use (F8 key)
Step Two
Press enter
Step Three
Press the MENU key, then the game will stop for a moment.
During this time you must very quickly move your cursor from the game to another field outside it.

Step Four
When your cursor is outside the game, press F6 to activate the selected skill
To check if it works, go to the taskbar and see in the small window that your skill will work.
