Hello guys and gals

I'm here again to try my luck. So lets start..

I'd like to suggest to add another field in our search engine maybe under 'Search Single Content Type' where we can search for a specific thread. It will benefit all, but most likely it will help forumers who loves to report and share some spare time to help our MODs. 100% MODs will benefit from this to hunt spammers.

I've come up with this idea when I was trying to check on who did double posting in these
thread
thread
thread
thread

If you find this feature non sense, feel free to trash the thread. Thanks

PS: This is just a suggestion. Comments are welcome. Share your thoughts. Don't spam. No flaming. Spread Love.

Please check this as well.

Wait...what? I don't understand what you mean.
We already have the search thread with single/multiple contents.
What do you want to have? Like a button to see who made 2 posts in a row or to see who made 2 posts or more in all that thread?
Try to explain it better please.

Hi Dreams, Yes, we do have but it's only per section and what i'm trying to suggest is per thread. Yes you're correct the main purpose of this suggestion is "to see who made 2 posts or more in a thread?". So we can monitor the threads like stated above and also 'Birthdays', 'Castle Siege Discussion ' etc. Thanks Dreams.

I personally do not have any problems checking each post in a thread if there's any double post or anything. I do not know about the others but making it all easy is not fun... it challenges yourself if you're really into this job. And the forum supporters are there to help the mods if they want to. They can leave whenever they want if the job that was given to them was hard for them to accomplished.

(courage) ...

Reporting everything that moves , things like long forgotten double post in forsaken threads won't get you to moderator, on the contrary, it will make Mods believe that you're some kind of robot..

Let's get back to the topic now, the suggestion is not really bad , but its something that its not really needed either , if it can be done without any hassling then why not.

So does it mean dat the tehcnology of nowdays should have stop to improve just because it simplifies our needs , senseless post.
I support the suggestion if it has some roots of possibility .

nope...
i can't agree with that implementation because :
1) it's easy to check a 2-3-4 even 5 pages thread.
2)threads like he mentioned there are usualy spamful and i don't see their meaning what so ever
3)even if we make it, you would still have to check if they are related somehow
4)birthday threads get closed in 24-48 hours maximum by mods
5)the only possible places to happen a double post like that would be in spamful threads (ref. point 2)
6)double post is very common (discussion threads) - example this one : this is my 2nd post in this thread. Should i get a ban or a warning?
And if i would think more than 2 minutes about this suggestion i would get to at least point 15-20 in why "NO' in favor of "YES"

And what Syd said was not sensless. Hachi recieved something to do as a forum supporter. Do not mendle in things that you have no information about please...and ofc dont rush into conclusions so fast if you do not have the big picture of what it was about.

Okay :D

Before anyone think that adding "Search Engine" would be easy as wush wush,
lemme remind the Thread's creator, we do have "Search" and "Advanced Search" function.

Why this Suggestion was made,
because I demand his work more quality by explore more and deeper in this Forum,
and ofcourse you want to find easiest way to achieve it.

Really?
For all due respect, we all MODs has been doing this job by our hard work, determined, passion, initiative.
You can use Search or Advanced Search function like we all always use,
If you suspect some User post twice on same thread, you can check that User's latest posts.
All this function you know well already.

So you want search "Double Post" by just simply write it at Search Engine and everything will pop up?

I didn't said your suggestion is bad, but this is show how you are want everything is easy.
MODs job is never been easy, nor hard, all is you have to do is hard work and determination.

We check hundreds of pages per thread if we have to,it's part of the job the Mods do,so this is useless and no it cant be implemented. Whatever the Search Engine is showing as options, that's it. You can't add options and expect it to work with some magical powers.

Please do think of suggestions that actually have any meaning and the possibility to work is above 10%. It would mean a lot.
