We can't compare all the countries and their services. We tried USA best hosting and they obviously can't handle this because we was kicked once from some "Patented DDoS Protection" host and numerously nullrouted from few other big companies that claim and advertise their services are the best ones in the market. It's too expensive for our server to pay for USA servers and they are not reliable as they are promoted by the hosting companies. They have limitations and we will be always null routed because the huge impact of the ddos attacks and their network will be affected then we will be kicked by their hosting like few times before. There's no such investment in network infrastructure like the EU hosting (OVH). I'm talking about the billionaires investigating in europe's business. USA is not that reliable as you might think.
We was online and stable for years on Europe in the current dedicated server we are using. This new kind of attacks ruining your understanding for stable service. We will be stable again like before. We handled so many attacks that you can't imagine. We always been under attacks but this time everyone is affected. We was every week in attacks from the start we was in USA and moved to Europe before a year ago and the anti-ddos didn't make any mistakes till now.
Exactly the USA hosting made us down for a week. Right now it's almost the same situation but the most of the attacks is blocked and we are not nullrouted without notices. The website you can see it's always online, just the services are always crashing while there's attack due the attack impact is too large.
And, Rupert, please remove the signature you have. It's too provocative. We are under google block list (AdSense) for such content. I will please everyone who have sexy avatars with very low hidden nudity and provocative just to change the siggy and his avatar.
P.S. Just let everything to me and don't think about which host is better because I manage around 120+ dedicated servers and I know what is better for us here at InfinityMU. Most of the servers are local businesses in Bulgaria and Europe and also have experienced interruptions due huge DDoS attacks. Everything should be normal in less than a week. For now we will play with little interruptions.
Actually we have stable gameplay for months and when interruptions happens you talk like that?You think we wasn't under attacks? We have about 1k email for the last year for ddos attack notifications. That's like few attacks every single day and we didn't have any interruption. The situation is that the service we pay has reached it's peak, obviously. How do I explain it?

From there on you can think how much we pay (it's expensive for both server and firewall) but we still don't get the real thing that's promised and this is the biggest company for anti-ddos protection and dedicated servers in Europe and probably already in Canada and USA. Like I said our server was always under attack since the move to USA (Usa couldn't handle it) and move to EU but never interrupted till now in the EU hosting company. Seems this new kind of attacks are more effective and can't be handled yet. They offer servers both in USA and Europe. Europe is the better option because their ddos protection services are founded and better maintenanced in EU and there's no difference like you said since we have potion cool-down.
