Hello Infinity community,

I'm here to open a suggestion that many players maybe have also thought about it. So the idea behind this suggestion is really easy. Basically is having the possibility to change "unused ubers" to new ubers for a fee. Regardless of the tier-level. This will allow also SuperVIP members to exchange T3's without having TopContributor Tag/without spending the full-price.

Let's breakdown the cost of Ubers in Tier-level pricing:

• T1 Set pricing 15

• T2 Set pricing 30

• T3 Set pricing 50

• T1 Swords pricing 15

• T2 Swords pricing 20

• Azreal Swords pricing 35

First Scenario:

• T1 Pair Set value is 30 (eg. Hyon+ Vic) upgrade to T2 ( eg. Atlas) value is 30-> Player adds 10$ as fee because it has the same pricing.

•T1 Pair Set value is 30 (or T2 Atlas) upgrade to T3 (eg. Helios) value is 50 -> Player adds 20$( the difference) + 10$ fee so total of 30$

In a different scenario that a player wants to exchange same Tier uber (Helios to Anhur), the player has to add a fee of 10$ only.


In Tier-Swords, upgrading a SMOK (15 value ) to Arthur, the player has to add 5$ difference+10$ fee so total of 15$.


Upgrading for example from Tier2 Arthur (value 20) to Azreal (Value 35), players has to donate for 15$(the difference + 10$ of fixed fee for exchanging) so a total of 25$.


I would fix the rules to Set - Set and Sword - to Sword only. But in case of Draco Sets I would only make it possible fot T3 Draco sets. Since in webshop the value is 25$ for example we can upgrade to T3 for 35$ (25$ difference +10$ exchange fee).



Why would this benefit the server?



First of all, this will push the market in every aspect. Events and rewards will be more useful, for example I won a MOK set, but i have no use of it, but I would prefer having a T3, this will encourage people to donate for something that they wish for. Draco hunt will be exciting as before (2020-2024) era, where people "fight" for a spot, while now I see that same players are always hunting and sometimes the spots are available even after 5 mins, because draco sets are not really "appealing" nowadays.

Secondly, some players are "shy" to make BTA, and since they have economic availablity, they can directly PM Venci to "exchange" their ubers, and this will also benefit the server because Top Contributors are allowes to trade Ubers for free, but in some circumstances, for example I want to trade my T3 to another T3 is hard to find a buyer, so I will choose the shortcut to donate 10$ as exchange fee. This will also benefit the server in long-term because some people wants to upgrade their gear but are not willing to donate for it( eg. SuperVIPS) because they are not allowes to trade T3s, but a lower upgrade price maybe will appeal them.

Lastly, for people who have many accounts and are willing to transfer items from different accounts, will also be eligible by paying a 10$ fee. ( Maybe we can also take in consideration moving chars from an account to another, BUT HAS TO MAKE SURE IT HAS NO ITEMS IN INVENTORY).



The most important thing is that the rules are applied as follow:
  • Swords can upgrade only to higher tier swords.
  • Sets can upgrade/exchange only to sets.
  • You CANT for example say Atlas+Hyon Vic for a T3, or 2 MOK for T2 Arthur. *only single Uber can be used / Sister Sets can be used*
  • Only fresh donations is allowed.

Feel free to "adjust" this suggestion and hear more opinions about it.

In theory similar idea was accepted, but doesn't seem like Venci felt like implementing it after all.

However, the market for outdated sets has dwindled, as most players prioritise acquiring the latest gear, which is often seen as superior. While the desire for new items is understandable, not all players have the financial flexibility to purchase them, and even those who do may hesitate to spend large sums frequently. To address this, I propose a sacrifice system that allows players to exchange their older Uber sets for credit toward newer sets, offering a solution that benefits both players and the server...

Otherwise, I do think that TC could be provided the option to "upgrade" for a small fee, but there must be limitations, like once per forum account a month or quarter and upgrade to just 1 product to reduce possible abuse and still keep the regular donations relevant.

Yeah, I wish we had a trade-in system like this - it would definitely attract old players to come back to the game and make the community more active again.

Well I didn't notice this suggestion, but top contributor can remain the same, so people can trade T3 to T3 freely. The only advantage of this situation remains to the server itself, where people can exchange set with a fee, rather then doing it for free with other users. For instance, I think if one player can reach Top Contributor, 10$ won't affect their pockets

This is also a pro of the suggestion as I didn't cross over in mind. But it definitely help returners and the market itself. Because mostly of the players only seek for T3. But buying T1 or T2 sets for cheaper and adding $ from own pocket can "save" some money
