Discussion Why do Filipinos play USA servers?

I am from the U.S I have a 30/30 connection i get a very good pot rate. When i go to the E.U server i get real bad rate maybe like 1 per sec. I'm wondering why do Filipinos play U.S server if there experience is way worse than that of mine when i go on Eu server. Ky0shi said he has like a .250mb connection. How the hell can you play on a U.S server with that connection? Why dont you Fillipinos play a server where the servers are hosted in said phillpines? I could never see myself playing a game where the servers are 10 of thousands of miles away specially with such internet connection.

Yes, we Filipinos do play here and we love it here, it is true for some that we have a bad pot rate like 2-4 per second in my case. Well, I do enjoy this stuff. It is true that we could choose to play in a Philippine hosted server however I personally tried them and I was basically just disappointed of the administration and problem with such servers. The game is hosted on USA and EU for the reason that those hosts are good providers, a quality and trusted one compared to the others. We used WTFast to somehow cope up with this matter. What's important is we enjoy what we do and what we play which I believe is the very reason why we stayed here :).

Well, to be honest, we Filipino got better pot rates at Server 3 than Server 4. That's why we need WTFast for this kind of situation and the ISP here IS WAY TOO EXPENSIVE plus it sometimes come with a poor customer service compare it to other countries. So expensive that you will gonna curse them and bad-mouth them for the rest of your life (at least for now but hey, we are improving somewhat lol). Why the hell we Filipinos don't play where games are hosted in/near Philippines? Simple. Not all games are hosted near our country and majority of the online games now are hosted in the USA for better connection and server status. I'm half Filipino, currently residing here in the Philippines yet I have a poor ISP (They promised 2mbps, I only get 1.75 max and then they surprised me just this year that they have a new rule that if we exceed the max usable size, they will cut it off to 0.04 mbps max) Kinda rip off, don't ya think? To add, USA and EU servers are way much better hosts than hosts in/near the Philippines. That's why some of us need WTFast badly. In the end, I still love it here, we still love it :]

:please:I am a filipino but, im here in USA... But, Filipinos have patience for everything, they have a lot of way to stay to this server because this server really meant to them... Without people"players" from the Philippines this server will decreased number of people plying here ,because of number of players from the ph. 55-70% of Filipinos from the Philippines playing this server and they love it. Just think about that they have max 3-4 pots per sec and if they want to have a better pot rate and faster connection they have to pay or just find a way.

Plus! Every single Filipinos are awesome.. Even " matgas ang ulo " we stay cool!

Do you guys really get 2-4 pots per sec with such bad internet connection and the server being so far away? IF you do that nice lol
 
Even they have a bad pot rate they last long in pk;)
 
we love this server and we wanted to stay here even we have low pot rate :3 we use wtfast for better pot rate. :) even some have low pot rate they can kick some arse :D

The highest pot rate I got was 6 pots per sec with 2 mbps internet plan (around 1.8 max lol still rip off). Not to mention it was 3 am in the morning so I can achieve the max speed since 11am onwards are the best hours for my internet and I was using WTFast too. But hey, I can still last long and own even with 2-4 pots :d
 
1 reason because we love infinitymu that`s why we play even our pots is not good :)

(Thoughts in my head) I love philippines. I wanna go bak there and try there internet. If I improved or not. I love to experince different game plays. Help you understand the game in a better perspected. I think all flippino's are badd a$$. Xd
Especially there food such as Menudo, Caldereta, And there Kari kari with bagukon. Yummm. When I go gas station or store unlimited bottled nestea. Dang I miss it all.

Cause filipino servers Zuck arse,,,,, and the official Mu for phili got shut down..

because USA server is better for us (filipinos) , and we can pawn some players there . even if we don't have good potting rate sometimes.

well im a filipino, yes there's alot of MU SERVER hosted here in philippines, but the way the administrator of others run their server is a big disappointment, so we pick infinity MU , for lots of good reason .. anyway are you a hater of our race?
 
This thread is not really about the Pot rates guys. The question was why do Filipinos or some Filipinos play USA Servers. Well for me basically, For PRIVATE SERVER WISE, take note PRIVATE SERVER WISE. Some countries are good at making servers and maintaining it to be online for like years. And this is not just like how speed your internet back home, it depends also on the server of the game. That's why in the Philippines, they do not make PRIVATE SERVERS that much because it's just a waste of time that's why they tend to make a GLOBAL SERVER and they got sponsors to maintain it which we all know that will be online or that will last for years. So yeah.
