As the saying goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I think Canada is still the best option for everyone, sure, we could experiment and all that, but it would only split the players, like others said. Maybe some players will get fixated on this experiment, and when it's gone, they will be bitter going back.

There are much more important things at hand to deal with and implement. Like releasing new content and items (hell, you could pay for a designer to make us a custom set textures! :D), paying for current hosting, etc. This is where your money should be going into if you wish to support us financially.

Relatively speaking, one of the main differences between European and Asian players is the consistency of ping, which affects the smoothness of gameplay. In Asian countries, since the server is based in Canada, fluctuating ping is more noticeable, especially during PVP situations when many players gather in a certain spot, often causing delay, lag, and less responsive movements, even when using a vpn.

It is still up to the admins to decide whether they agree to add a Singapore based subserver as an experimental server, with Dupung shouldering the expenses for the first three months.

Wew, as a players from SEA I hope we can test in 3 months. For me that's great because I play here since 2012 with high ping, even use VPN my ping always ~200ms

I think creating another subserver will fragment the community, creating a PH/SEA niche with unfavorable ping for everyone else. But it would be interesting to see all of them bragging about how well they play now, so I voted no—but honestly, if it makes them happy, I wouldn’t mind. So yes, make the PH/SEA players’ dream come true.

I am 100% YES for this idea! 🇸🇬🇵🇭🚀

Honestly speaking, there is really no harm in trying anyway. Why say no when we already have a great opportunity right in front of us? Big shoutout and massive thanks to @xDUPUNG for being so generous and sponsoring the first 3 months! 🙌👏 That is already half a year covered right there. Since the cost is already taken care of for the initial testing period, we literally have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If it works, we keep it. If not, we can always go back or adjust. But we will never know unless we try, right?

For us players here in the Philippines, SEA, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Oceania, the connection has always been our biggest struggle. Playing on a server based in Canada means we have to deal with high ping and delay almost every single day. It affects our PvP, our combo, and the overall enjoyment of the game. Sometimes it feels like we are at a disadvantage just because of our location. Having a Singapore server would be a total game-changer! 🎮🔥 It would give us smooth gameplay, zero lag, and finally allow us to play at our full potential. It would make the game so much more fun and competitive for everyone in our time zone.

I also understand the worry about splitting the players, but looking back at the history, the server successfully ran the EU and US subservers before and it worked perfectly fine! We are still one big InfinityMU community, just playing on different nodes for better connection. Plus, having a low ping server will actually HELP the community GROW! 📈✨ It will be so much easier to invite new players and friends because nobody wants to play a game that lags. A better connection means more active players online during our hours.

Since we already have the sponsorship secured for 3 months, let’s use that chance to test it out properly. Let’s see how the community responds, see how the ping improves, and decide from there. But right now, with everything already set up and supported, this is the best decision to make.

Let’s do this for better gameplay, better connection, and for the whole SEA family! ❤️🔥

STRONG YES TO SINGAPORE SUBSERVER! 🇸🇬✅

for me it is fine so that they van also try or feel what we feel (from asia) connecting to the game and adjusting so that we can compete with them. Also it is in a different server. They can try it and if they dont like it they can go back to eu server and give some feedback with regards to how high the latency is. It just for testing for now whatever is the outcome im sure managemnet will do something about it.

To be honest, I don't believe this will be a bad thing... testing a sub-server hosted in Singapore could be cool, or something like that (I really didn't know). But I just see a desire to host in Singapore purely for personal reasons and not for the community. Look, in the last's Big Events only PH/SEA/ASIA players won, me and some friends with ping between 80/120 and max potrate didn't last 3 minutes, so what's the point here? I saw a BK (PH player) tanking 4 DLs with buffs (detail I was playing this event and I dead in 2 minuts with 106 ping max pots 1 dl killed me :cry2: :feels: ) a low-ping player can't handle that.
