Experience on InfinityMU: I've been playing InfinityMU for 8 years
Forum online time: 5-6 Hours and most of the time cause I'm using my phone to open Forum to check announcements and reading some stuff here in the forum.
Online game time: 5-6 hours mostly at night and available, but since I work only 2-3 days a week, I have plenty of time to check the forum and play InfinityMU.
I take this opportunity to help the community and the team to make sure the forum is an informative area and safe place to be with the players as well as the visitors of InfinityMU.

I’ve been a Forum Supporter, Moderator, and Event master before, here at 999x as well as 100x. Some of my works are answering questions, creating some guides for players as well as helping forumers to their thread, and also the duty as moderator. As a Moderator it is our priority to make sure that the forum is a friendly community, and 100% accurate for the questions of the players. The moderator should have full knowledge of the Forum as well as the game. It is also important that the moderator create some guides about the game/server to ensure players got 100% enjoyment in-game.

Experience of being part of the Moderator team is important the decision-making and other kinds of stuff here in the forum should also consider. I’ve been trained by and experience work with the best like Kronwell, as well as former Senior Moderators and Lead Moderators like Dimer, Scarlette, and other best-known moderators here at InfinityMU.
Experience teaches me how to deal with the problem, with the proper guidance of our seniors.

Taking this opportunity to be part of the Moderator/Staff team is a big and great responsibility, I know I’ve been inactive, and busy during those times and I have big regrets about all those things. People can change because he knows he has done something wrong. And this time I promise to do my best of my ability, showing and giving the time to the work as a moderator. Also, this opportunity gives me a chance to grow more and to do more, what is best for this community. I’m hoping that the team will consider and have a positive rate for this application.

About 4 months into the team after being accepted as TMod back in 22 November of 2018 you took upon yourself tag of EM as well, in just 2 months (16th of June 2019) you left both positions.
28th November 2019 - Came back as EM here and were given Mod as well since then Mod+EM was a thing.
7th January - You chose EM over Mod (forced choice, but choice none the less).
26th January - You resign due to busy schedule.
29th April - You go to 100x as EM.
11 July - Demoted due to inactivity.
3rd August - Came back as Mod in 100x instead of EM.
11th September - Again you choose EM over Mod.
6th October - Demoted due to inactivity.

How does this rep look to you? Imagine you are an employer and this is what you see on their CV. 11 months with breaks here, 2 months in 100x and demoted for inactivity, came back for another 2 months just to get demoted again. And for what? Inactivity. I don't need a mod for 2 months. Your past has more colours and inconsistencies than dirt road. I'm not talking about your capabilities as Mod or EM here, I am talking purely about your inconsistency. Sorry, but for you this won't be an easy way to apply, you will have to do better as ex part of staff. Edit your post and convince me to look over these things and then we can talk about a possible test period. How you do it is on you and this will play huge role in the decision making.

Reason to apply as a test mod / moderator?

I spend almost all day in front of the computer and as I help many people in the Game I would like to be able to do it here in the Forum
I can add that it would be a New experience within the server since I have been playing here for some years and I would love to try a new stage within the community

The truth is I don't have any experience as a MOD
But I know that with the help of Jero, Djinny, Doraemon Among Others I can improve very quickly and be a Good contributor to the InfinityMu Community

And many times I go to bed at dawn

I am writing to express my interest to apply for the Moderator. I am Marc Jayson M. Balatero, Male, 22years old, residing at Butuan city, Mindanao, Philippines [GMT+8]. I love to play Instruments such like saxophone & drum and its beats and melody is my medicine in my crazy world. I am a fresh graduate with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and currently working on the government as their Covid19 Contact Tracer. Also a volunteer in Tudlo Mindanao whose capable to assist those students in having difficulties in their class modules. Since I was work from home, I majorly meet my clients through online I face my computer about 8-10hours a day and can be extended doing other extra curricular. I joined forum Infinitian here way back 2014 inspired and motivated by staff and in-game way back 2010. Also been Infractioned by the counselor's here in forum for them to maintain the fairness and cleanliness to their task assigned. I think that every Infractions that I take was a motivation for me to read rules before making some steps because it may changed time by time. Also it can be apply in real life. Just like taking up examination you need to read first the Instruction assigned by the examiner before answering those questions.


In this precious time I want to apply for this team to give them assistance and always remind them that Rules is always a Policy. Even I don't have the experience of being a Moderator. But for being a dedicated to my job and from the help of our Senior Moderator I will show spirited and optimism approach to this job.

Funk. You are yet to learn to follow the forum rules.. Also, it is fairly evident that you used google translate or any other means of translation in order to make your language skills to appear better than they actually are. If not, I apologise for my oversight, but I base this on your previous posts and either you did what I said, either you tried very hard to select your words. Either way, this does not represent the real you. I do see that you want the best for the server, by battling against rule abusers in game, taking part in some events, evidently you like the game. But that is what it is, you like the game specifically. I feel like Moderator might evolve to be a stepping stone for you to get game related position and if not, you would possibly still be more focused on game. You have not shown prior interest for this position by actively helping people here or being generally active in forum and the application.. It's basically an introduction with 1 and a half line of why you apply. Introduction part should be shorter than actual application part, where you are trying to convince us to take you in. If you really do want to apply for a Mod - great, but unfortunately you will have to better yourself and use proper application in application section when you feel like you've improved yourself.

Leche. Unfortunately your English is also lacking in many parts, yet having good English skills is very important in this position. You can help in forum without the tag as well, yet I do not see that. Most of the time quality is better than quantity, but you not only lack quality in your application, quantity is seriously lacking as well. I simply don't have enough information out of your application. Sorry, but your application does not convince me to take you in Moderator team as well.

Brave. I said everything earlier in this post. I see that you edited your post to explain some points, but you have not explained everything. I know more than you think that I know. I know, that you want to be EM and even GM. I know that you were warned about inactivity and not communicating enough yet still did these things again. All of this aside, what made me cringe a little bit.. I saw that you came back to forum, I saw you lurking, but you were semi helpful 2 times. As soon as you wrote an application, you became a tryhard until told off by Djinny. You did stuff needlessly that was not an actual help. Your explanation did not change my mind, I still think that this won't be an easy way in for you, you will have to prove yourself, that you can provide the stability in position and you will have to apply in application section. I know that you have the ability, so I will help you a bit by giving you Forum Supporter group so you have easier time proving yourself before you write an application. I have added you in discord, if you have questions - ask.

Dyes. A lot more active in forum than the rest of applicants, which I like. I see that you are polite in your postings and usually post more than the majority, as well as your English is in very decent level. I see that you are also very much inclined to the game, so all I hope for is that you don't think that this will be a stepping stone for other position. I liked your application, I like that your history has no bumps and that you are actually active in both forum and game so I will give you a chance to prove yourself as Test Moderator. I have added you in Discord, please message me when you can so we can arrange what is needed in order for you to become Test Moderator.

Don't let rejection break you. If you want something, work for it ;) I am more than open to see you all (naturally except Dyes) apply in normal format if this is really what you want. Life won't always give you what you want right away, sometimes you have to do your best for prolonged period of time to be able to grab what you desire.

If you are from the EU you have higher chances to be accepted, since we don't have EU moderators and we need to fill all the timezone so forum can get moderated 24/7.

Why do I want to apply as TMOD/MOD:

I have dreamt to be a part of mod team from before, but I have not gained enough experience in forums yet that is why I never got the chance to prove my capabilities in this team. I have been a TMOD before, and it didn't last long due to my irresponsibility at that time. I was arrogant and I wasn't able to prove myself specially to Dimer who got me that chance. Now that I've finally gathered enough courage to try and take a little bit of faith in my capabilities, now that I've grown a lot better, way better than before. I want to take a leap of faith in pursuing this opportunity.


What are the new things I can contribute in the community:

I have no plan to add new things nor make promises to the community of how I'm going to do my job if ever I got it. My goal this time around will be simple, I want to keep the forums as clean as it is from the start. Just like the other moderators before me, I want to take their path and continue what they've started from the very beginning.

How much time can I invest in the forums:

I am not exactly sure of my day to day routine, but I can attend for about 5 to 6 hours a day since I am working from home.

I DONT SUGARCOAT MYSELF WITH NICE AND KIND GESTURES, so I am going to share a little bit of my experience here in the forums.

I was banned in game if I'm not mistaken (correct me if I'm wrong) around 2 or 3 times. Those bans include spamming in game, insults, and a major permanent ban on 2019.
I cant discuss that ban because of the foul words and all of it's contents. Only Staff members can check the last permanent ban I got.

I was also banned from forums but I'm not sure what it is ( it was a long time and I forgot about them) , but some bans include flaming, spamming, not following rules in an event, some infractions from way back, and one major forum ban that I got on 2019 as well.

I have experienced a lot in the forums and I cant deny the facts that revolves around me, there are more negative insights than positive ones and I am aware of that. I may not be the perfect candidate for this job, all I can say is that I am far away from what I am before. I am wiser now, I am better in terms of socializing with other players, I am friendly to almost all of you. Yes, I wasted the opportunity that Dimer gave to me before and I accept that mistake. Whatever the staff team decides on this moderator application, I will humbly accept that decision.

Hello there @v1taL, I've really consider your application, the only reason I'm not going to hire you as MOD is the fact that all the mods right now are from the same Time Zone. If one of them decides to resign I would have this application in consideration, I'm willing to forgive your mistakes and give you a chance. But for the moment being, Mod team has perfectly covered Asia Time Zone.
Sorry to make you wait this long for a decline but I had to gather all your past information, bans and warnings.
All that said, hope to see you around and expect my PM if one of the actual Mods decides to resign.
