I agree with this. It would work very well if the CS length was flexible based on the number of registered guilds. It is very understandable that when activity is good, people want the fun to last longer, who wouldn't, but the trade off here is that when activity isn't really there, 2 hours can become boring, so the above solution would work as a great middle ground.
But if the above is not possible, I vote for 1 hour for the simple reason that it is the best option overall, it has just 1 drawback, less fun when more fun could have been had. 2 hours have more drawbacks, most mu enjoyers are well into adulthood now and not everyone has the luxury to spend 2 hours gaming, we have people from around the world here, and for some, CS time can be too late, 2 hours is out of question then, but 1 hour could be doable.
Additionally, 1 hour format encourages players to show up consistently, since commitment to 1 hour play time is more manageable for more casual players.
I also feel like 1 hour cs promotes more strategy, with 2 hours you feel like time is infinite, but with 1 hour, things can get heated way quicker, it encourages working for it from the beginning to the end.
