• Experience on InfinityMU: I started playing in this server last year at around early july and been pretty much hooked on it ever since. I bealive i'm well read in our wiki page, understood in most game events, and also well read in almost every game guide in the forums (good stuff I don't think the average player check them as much as they should). Came for the nostalgia and stayed for the community and quality content.​
• Availability during a regular week: At the moment it's very flexible, I can easily commit atleast 2 hours daily to the game and it can go up to way more if i'm inspired (like in the race threw realms event for example, hehe).​
• What are your biggest weaknesses? Personality wise, I have a bit of a tendency for over thinking, which can be a joy killer for myself mostly (but not exclusively). Gamewise, I feel like I still have a long way to go in the field of PvP and CS within all of the different classes and all that implies. But I've been learning alot with the help of friends, specially in the last couple of months, shoutout @Tomioka & @-Mookie- .​
• What are your biggest strengths? Personality wise, I'm the type of guy that doesn't get easily triggered. I tend to be very analytical and have no problem standing my ground when confronted or admiting a mistake when made. Gamewise: good sense of humor, highly competitive & thorough.​
• Why should we hire you? I love this game and community. I can very easily see myself being part of it on a long run, in what capacity I'll leave for the staff and community to decide, but I think such an oportunity would come a long way in enabling me to be a part of it on a deeper and more significant level, which I would be very glad to do.​

I was pretty sure from the first few days of your arrival here that you will apply for a staff position sooner or later. From personal interactions with you I can vouch that you are respectful and mindful of potential issues that could arise from your actions. I haven't personally witnessed nor have I heard about you having bad blood with anyone, and your involvement in both game and forum is noticeable. You did not mention if you have previous experience, but based on the fact that you mentioned that you are still learning the quirks of the game, I figure you don't have any, which is not a bad thing, everyone has to start somewhere, just kind of putting a note on this.

You are fairly fresh here, and your game knowledge based on your own explanation is lacking, which begs the question if you can do what is required from the position you are applying for. I would very likely say yes for EM or Mod application, but for a GM application, which requires far more knowledge, I am leaning more towards a negative answer, BUT, I am fairly confident that you can prove to be useful if given the chance to prove yourself, which is why instead of giving a negative reply to your application, I want to leave a positive one.

That said, I suggest that instead of having you approved as TGM, you should instead be given the game Supporter role, so you can work with the GM team, explore the report section, gain knowledge, start accumulating some experience, because as I said, everyone has to start somewhere, and Supporter role would be ideal for this purpose, it would allow you to learn the craft of being a GM by learning from the team directly. This would not only allow you to gain the required knowledge, it would also give you an insight of what the position implies and instead of jumping right in, you could ease into it and advance from Supporter to TGM and later GM if you feel like this is what suits you. I hope you won't get discouraged by this reply, it is not meant to do that, on the contrary, I am encouraging you to proceed, but starting slower.

Here's my opinion about you: I have nothing but a good words about you, your behavior, what you brought to the game and community: being nice, helpful, trying to be active. You've experienced a lot of the events, in-game and in-forum.
Everybody deserves a chance, maybe you'll be given yours since you don't have any experience in GM activity, nor the best experience in PvP/CS, but you can always learn if you want to!

A minus would be your working schedule, 2 hours may be not enough for this role, but our Leading Staff knows better and they'll take the right decision.

Hello everyone,

I’m pleased to announce that Elbereth has successfully passed his GM application and is now promoted to Test Game Master for a 3-month trial period!

Typically, the trial period lasts 31 days, but this time, we’re extending it to 3 months to encourage future trial GMs to give their best. However, this doesn’t mean they have to wait the full 3 months—if a Test GM excels, they can be promoted to a full Game Master in just one month!
