Game Suggestion Server for Full option sets

hello fellas.
i want to suggest a new/renewed server for f.o. sets where pvp will be balanced for all the characters, as it was years ago.
i want to underline, that the server lost most of the players cause of that fact, that full items became useless.
the server was enjoyable for people who were doing market, and the fact killed market also.
i can predict it will help market to reborn on the server.

I WANT THE SERVER TO REBORN.
THE MARKET IS DEAD, face to it.

I agree. As we can observe, majority of players playing are just AFK. Barely players selling items as we know that most of the players have uber sets and buffs. Your suggestion would truly benefit starting players who wants to earn items by doing grind selling. Market is dead. We need to improve the market in order to attract other players. It should be Play to win server.

This is a serious matter that if not resolve, we can lose more players in the future. Just sharing my opinion

Haha, facts! We’ve leveled way past the FO = TS + red pots era. In the semi-Ubers and Draconite era, if you’re not stacking FO gear with solid passives and real utility, you’re basically asking to get clapped. Buffs and semi-Ubers give you that Play-to-Win edge and the best part? There’s no donation needed, so please don't mention that we are based on Pay-to-Win. No one is forcing you to donate. I know many players who never donated but are better than most donors and have earned many ubers... Everything’s grindable in-game, and full Ubers? You can snag those through events and BTA. No excuses, just grind and dominate!

FO items now are the baseline, not the flex.

Why we lose players?
1. We lose players because they expect everything handed to them after just a week of playing. They don’t want to put in the grind ----- they want instant rewards without the effort. Right now, we’re in the mobile era where games hand out rewards non-stop. It feeds that instant gratification mindset, and that’s what players are getting used to.
2. Sure, we won’t deny some players get banned for cheating and then try to pull their friends elsewhere but that’s just part of keeping the server clean and competitive.

Let’s be real—this game’s been around for 24 years. You can’t expect the same players from day one to keep it alive forever. But the truth is, we still have loyal players who’ve been with us since 2015... 2011, 2010, 2009, even 2008. That kind of long-term dedication is rare and it says a lot about the community we've built.

A lot of other MU servers inflate their stats with OffLevel, OffStore, or just straight-up fake numbers. But when it comes to real activity and engagement especially during Castle Siege we’re on another level. Most MU servers don’t even last a few months before wiping and starting over. Meanwhile, InfinityMU has been running strong for 17 years with a stable, loyal player base.


Try suggesting something more relevant to the current market. Let's not dwell too much on nostalgia for the old days. The server won't thrive without Ubers and donation-based buffs it’s just the reality of sustaining a modern player base. Market always been based on rows and recent years on Draconite stones. With those you can easily get into Uber geared-up character.

I sincerely respect this suggestion, but the truth is I do not agree as it would be a step back into the past; what happened has happened, let’s live in the present. Our dear owner @RESiSTANT has been working hard to provide us with the best. Additionally, I want to add that I am a clear example of what he mentioned; I have more than 6 or 7 t3, swords, upgraded characters, etc.. And I have earned everything within the game! With nothing more to add..

F.O. sets have been rendered down to a mere stepping stone on the players way to his endgame gear. Usefull for new players if they want to attend events like CS as "buffers" as a near inmidiate option(i know i did CS like this for a while when just starting, still do at times and it's fun just being part of the team), or a set for your "buffing" characters/mules, it is just the best/affordable defensive gear. So it's no surprise that the ingame market for it would naturally become of lower demand (with fluctuations varying on the flow of new players or just regular players equipping new characters).

On the other hand everyday there are players trying to buy or sell semi uber sets (mainly T3, like helios, sol sublime or demeter). (Aside from the ever present demand of uber accesories). I'd say this are the current "hot" sets to commerce. But they take time to farm, (hours) not to mention the high chance of not getting your desired Excellent option aside from the fact that it also requires acces to land of trials(CS winners alliance special map).

So saying the market is dead because people arent buying or selling FO sets alone is just a lack of perspective. Markets change, they always do even in games and this server is not the exception, it's part of the game and fun. Players can choose to work with it or around it.

Making a new server for F.O. sets alone would be counter productive, backwards looking, and divisive. If you're aim is to add to the ways a new player can build itself up we'd be better off discussing the possibilities of new special non-pvp weekly events with similar rewards to that of the classic battle event (20 dracos). Or something like a special tournament for semi ubers. Etc.

Appreciate the intention but in reality it probably just wouldn't work. imo. At best if this were to gather enough traction it could maybe be pitched as a possible "window to the past" special monthly event of some sort.

Just sharing my thoughts.
 
Well i was thinking about something similar with few players in the game. Why not opening InfinityMu Classic server? Based on same client but exp x1 (double with vip) and no resets

Max wings lvl2 (maybe 3 in later update)
max set 380
no 380+exe
no acc+exe
max 2opt on exe items

lets bring a classic mu so people can grind for items, pay for vip for higher exp and pvp using different builds on every char as it should be :D

I suggest, try asking your friends to play pvp with you using FO Sets on S3.
Hence, nobody killed the market... some active players are busy grinding in real life to save money and donate for ubers to be happy and relieve stress like me :bigbrain:
 
Goodday the suggestion is good brother but the reality if the FO, semi-uber and Uber is balance then everyone will choose FO bro. And I agree to Sir resistant every Uber you can earned it by grinding. Like me starting and earned ubra hahahahah from CC/BC/DS/ killing kundon, Golden from tarkans, Non-PK event, PK event, Votes, Draconites hunting then Big events. You know brother reality why market is gone because this days players is so busy in real life. Maybe someday everyone will return and add new players. I suggest to you bro to promote our server to gain more players.

Maybe we can have FO sets PK Battle event like gells do in t1 Uber Pk event.
 
I totally agree with venci that we're at the mobile era now. The server didn't lose players just because of the FO's, this is already a very easy server compared to other servers I played before. Probably a mobile compatibility will help the server gain players as well since I see lots of people playing mobile versions (dont wanna mention mobile servers with cross platform compatibility since I might get banned lol).

In my opinion, regarding any server for Classic sets or just FO excellent isn't relevant anymore, because the market is not dead necessarily, you see in here at Market Place area in forum and BTAs, there are daily trading's between players.
The players don't want to grind the hard way, to keep it working for the items, because let's face it: each month, try your best in-game for resets, GRs, BCs, CCs, CS, and after to join the forum for big events: Top Voter, Picasso, Meme, SOTM, etc, you can really gain a lot of wins overall, in GC, in uber items, in $ prizes, and I even know players online who couldn't afford to pay / donate for any Uber set, but now already owns them by grinding hard.
You cannot achieve those things easy, like Achievements and iBuff, that's the purpose: if it would be easy, there wouldn't be those who donated for such things to skip the work...

Also, for example, a server with only F.O. items, would mean another type of market: you are not allowed to buy F.O. items from Webshop, just semi-items with 2 options (like semi-uber) and no Boxes of Kundun in store, nor jewels like: Jewel of Chaos, or Jewel of Harmony.

That way, all those players you say would grind, would stop again, because that is hard and takes a lot of time!

In my opinion, and that's why I choose to play on this server in the first place, was that the server was Season 3, but with a little bit of extra addition in Ubers sets.
 
renewed and start over the Server does not change the situation.. that's the fact
i've seen a lot of MU Server does that but same set up and same game play, only they change is "Name".

We don't deny the truth that some of players gone or left and join other Server.
only one thing I sure, iMU is the longest Server that I know never wipe out.

So I dont agree with suggestion.
